They hadn't walked far before they encountered a fork in the road.
Jieva and the others led Su Ming down the right tunnel, and as they went deeper, the pathways multiplied.
"Where are we?"
Su Ming asked curiously.
"An abandoned mine, filled with leftover mine shafts, very concealed!"
Oji explained to Su Ming.
"You all certainly know how to find hiding spots."
Su Ming replied with a smile.
"There's no choice, only places like this are safe, those guards are unwilling to come down and search."
Jieva explained helplessly.
"Hmm."
Su Ming nodded.
Over half an hour later, Su Ming followed Jieva and the others deep into the underground mines, and encountered a few frail young guards.
Seeing Jieva and the others, they raised their hands in greeting and said.
"Jieva, why are you only arriving now? The assembly is about to start."
"Alright, we'll head over immediately."
Jieva responded promptly.
"Hurry inside!"
The young guards said with a smile.
