Although Michael had never been to the headquarters of the Green Lantern Corps, nor had the Green Lantern Corps officially acknowledged his identity, it didn't matter because no one else knew about this anyway!

"Investigation? Investigating what?"

For Oliver Queen, the amount of information was a bit overwhelming. He had just prepared to save Star City, a city, but the Michael in front of him had already expanded the scope to the entire Earth, and even the universe.

"I just said that other cities also have their own superheroes protecting them, but... your vision is still too narrow. You shouldn't limit yourself to just your city. You should think bigger. When there are powerful enemies that you can't deal with alone, you can only hope to defeat them if you gather together, and this 'everyone' is the candidate I am examining!"

Oliver was still a little confused. He didn't understand why Michael told him all this, nor did he understand why he was chosen. Yes, he did have some abilities, better than ordinary people, even better than many others, but after all, he was just an ordinary person without superpowers—he didn't have the ability to protect the entire Earth or even the universe.

Looking at the still confused Oliver Queen, Michael smiled and said, "Actually, I know a little about you. Some of your actions and decisions don't strictly meet the standards of a hero. At least, most people would think so. A hero fights criminals and brings them to justice without taking their lives. But the consequence of doing so is that they commit crimes again and again, causing trouble again and again. So, I need a... dark hero like you? Methods and means are not important. What's important is... you have a heart of justice!"

"I appreciate your appreciation and understanding, but I'm not a hero. I just want to do something for this city." Oliver Queen shook his head and said in a deep voice, "So, although I don't know why you're investigating me, I'm afraid I'm not the right person!"

Michael didn't care about Oliver's refusal. He wasn't ready to form the Justice League right now; it was just a concept. It was enough to let Oliver Queen know that he had this intention and idea. What's more, just now, he received a system prompt.

[Green Arrow: Oliver Queen, five percent friendly!]

This 5% of friendship should be due to his appreciation for him, right? Although it was a small amount, it was still a good start!

Michael smiled and said to Oliver, "We'll know whether you're suitable or not in the future, but now... I think you won't refuse my help, right? For example... I can help you build a secret base so that you can do things more conveniently? After all, a person's power is limited, isn't it?"

Oliver Queen was really tempted. After all, he couldn't reveal his identity, nor could he ask for help. It would be best if Michael could help. However, he felt embarrassed and worried about asking Michael for help without any reason.

In his heart, he tended to agree with what Michael said, but he was not someone who would easily trust other people.

He had changed a lot in the past five years, one of which was his lack of trust!

"It's settled. I know a place that's perfect. Time's running out. Let's go there now!" Seeing Oliver hesitate, Michael didn't give him time to think.

Only by helping him could Michael increase his friendship and complete the task!

Moreover, there were some things Oliver would do even without him, so why waste the opportunity to increase friendship?

Michael was very straightforward and didn't give Oliver a chance to refuse. The energy shields respectively covered Oliver and Carol, and then Michael floated directly out of the window. Suddenly rising into the air, Oliver was a little panicked but did not lose his composure. He curiously studied the energy shield, trying to figure out what it was.

Not long after, the three of them slowly landed.

"Is this... my father's original factory?" After landing, Oliver looked around and said with some surprise.

Michael nodded and walked in, "Yes, this factory has been abandoned. Basically, no one comes here."

After entering, Michael stamped his feet and said, "This place down there should be empty, right? As long as we get through here, there will be a perfect secret base down there. As for this place up here, you can decorate it into a nightclub. With your name, Oliver Queen, I believe the business will be very good. No one would have thought that this place down there would be the base of the Green Arrow, and it's also a perfect cover for your frequent visits here!"

Oliver couldn't help but nod repeatedly, "It's perfect indeed!"

"You can handle the nightclub business openly. As for now, we can take care of the bottom first."

"Okay, I'll go prepare things!" Oliver said.

After all, to break through the ground, you needed hammers and other tools.

"That's not necessary!"

Michael stopped Oliver with a smile, and then a huge hammer appeared above his head.

Boom!

The huge hammer fell, and the ground shook instantly, leaving cracks.

Michael frowned slightly, as if he was not satisfied with the effect of the hammer. With a thought, the hammer turned into a pile driver and started smashing again and again. Within five minutes, the ground collapsed.

Michael walked over, took a look, and nodded with satisfaction.

The ground below was hollow, so Oliver jumped down first, followed by Michael holding Carol and slowly falling down.

It was a bit dark and dusty inside.

"Looks like we need to clean up!"

Michael waved his hand, and a ball of energy enveloped Carol. Then it transformed into a huge vacuum cleaner and began to suck.

"Your ability... is really special!"

Oliver stared at Michael in amazement and muttered.

"It's okay. Although the things I transformed have the same effect, they rely on energy after all. They will disappear as soon as I tear off the energy. I'm still working hard. If I succeed, maybe the things I transform in the future will really exist!" Ether particles are reality gems. If you completely devour the ether particles, you will have the ability to modify the display, and the things you transform will become real.

It's just like the magic brush, whatever you draw will come true.

"Can't you conjure up an extra energy shield?" Oliver complained to Michael, covering his nose. He now understood why Michael suddenly covered Carol with an energy shield.

What a big ash!

"Actually, there's really no need for you to do anything here right now. Staying here would be a hindrance. You can go back and get your equipment and other things you'll need in the future. To be honest, I really want to see your archery skills!"

"Getting in the way? This is my base!"

Oliver said this dejectedly but turned and left.

Two hours later, Oliver was back.

When he came back here again, he was shocked to find that the place had been completely renewed. The space had been completely cleared out, and all the dust had disappeared. It was so clean that he could hardly recognize it.

"You're finally back. Come on, let me see how good your archery skills are. Carol just asked me what my abilities are, and I said you're very good at archery. Please don't embarrass me in front of my girlfriend!" Michael couldn't wait to say to Oliver. Carol next to him was a little embarrassed, but her eyes were full of anticipation.

Oliver was a little uncomfortable with being stared at by Michael and Carol. His arrows had always been used to kill people, but now it felt like an acrobatic performance! Although he was depressed, Oliver still opened the box, took out his bow and arrow, and fiddled with it to adjust it.

Not to mention, Oliver Queen's temperament instantly became a little different with the bow and arrow in his hand, and his eyes were extremely sharp.

Michael suddenly used his energy to create a tennis ball and threw it at Oliver. Oliver reacted very quickly. He turned around, pulled the bow, and with a whoosh, the arrow pierced the tennis ball and nailed it to the wall.

Michael didn't say anything either. He conjured up three tennis balls at the same time, which flew over at different angles and speeds.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Three tennis balls were nailed to the wall again.

"How amazing..." Carol said in amazement, clapping her hands.

Michael took back the energy and clapped his hands, saying, "Your archery skills are really amazing. I know a guy who is also very good at archery. I just don't know who is better between you two?"

"What's his name?" Oliver was absolutely confident in his archery skills, so he asked curiously.

"His name is Hawkeye. If there's a chance in the future, I can let you compete with each other." Michael hadn't had the chance to meet Hawkeye yet, but as the representative of archery in the Marvel world, his abilities were almost the same as those of Green Arrow.

Both used bows and multi-functional arrows. Therefore, Michael was really curious about who was stronger between Green Arrow and Hawkeye.
