[Side Mission 1: Cooperate with Green Arrow on a mission more than once]
[Side Mission 2: Get your friendship with Green Arrow to over 50%]
[Plot Mission: The Birth of the Justice League, Leading the Formation of the Justice League]
[Friendliness is turned on]
Michael was a little surprised by the series of prompts. It was normal to issue tasks, but this time it seemed a little different.
"System, what is friendliness?"
[Friendliness, as the name implies, is the degree of friendly relations. The higher the friendship, the better the relationship and the more trust. At the same time, when the friendship reaches more than 80%, the fighting field can be opened.]
"What is a fighting arena? It seems that it has more and more functions after you upgrade," Michael exclaimed.
[Fighting Arena: a fighting competition arena. Characters with a friendliness level of 80% can appear in the fighting arena. The host can spar with them and fight.]
"Okay, this introduction is really formal. Generally speaking, increasing friendship will be beneficial. Opening a fighting arena is equivalent to having an extra training ground, right? This is good. You can often practice fighting and improve your combat ability. By the way, is this friendship only available in the dungeon plane, or is it also available in the main world?"
[Both]
"Is that so? It seems that this friendship level was activated because of entering the third copy. However, this mission is a bit unreasonable. The main mission and side missions are fine, but what the hell is the plot mission? Leading the formation of the Justice League? Why wasn't there one in the previous Green Lantern copy? Also, I only stay for seven days. How can I form the Justice League in seven days? Isn't this a joke?" Michael complained.
[Story missions refer to joint missions that are launched in different planes of the same world, with no time limit]
The system explained.
"No time limit? That's good enough!" Michael breathed a sigh of relief. Although there was no punishment for mission failure, there was no reward for not completing the mission. Now that there was no time limit, he didn't have to worry about it.
In general, the main and side quests needed to be completed as soon as possible. However, Michael also had to visit Seaside City to check on Carol and ensure she was safe. That way, when he left, he could safely erase the Green Lantern dimension and open a new one.
As long as the timeline remained connected, retaining a DC plane was enough.
Michael bought a map at a newsstand on the street and found the location and direction of Seaside City. Then he activated the energy of the light ring, soared into the air, and flew quickly toward Seaside City.
Not long after, Michael arrived in Seaside City and located Carol's home among the tall buildings.
Slowly floating to the balcony, he landed and pushed open the door. No one was home. Carol was likely at work. Michael thought for a moment, took out his phone, and called her.
"Hello, this is Carol," Came the familiar voice on the other end.
Apparently, she had answered without checking who was calling.
"Hello, it's Michael," He said in a deliberate tone.
"Ah!" Carol exclaimed, her breathing quickening. "You finally called me. I tried to reach you so many times but couldn't get through. I thought something had happened to you."
"Maybe the signal was bad. Where are you?"
"At the office! Have you finished your work? When will you be back?"
"You'll have to wait, but I sent something to your house."
"What did you send to my house?"
"You'll see it when you get back. I have something else to do here, so I'll hang up now."
After ending the call, Michael leaned back, waiting for Carol's reaction.
Carol put down the phone and couldn't help but wonder what Michael had sent. "No, I'd better go back and take a look!" The curiosity in her heart was like a cat's scratch, making it impossible for her to concentrate on her work. So, she simply put it aside for the time being and went back to take a look.
After leaving the company, she drove all the way home.
When she arrived at the door of her house, Carol found that there was nothing at the door, which made her very curious.
Didn't he say something would be delivered? Why not? He couldn't... deliver it directly to her room, could they? She lived alone; how could he deliver it to her room without anyone opening the door?
Suddenly, Carol thought of a possibility. She hurriedly took out her key, unlocked the door, and quickly pushed it open as she walked in.
"Michael? Is that you? Are you back?"
As soon as she entered, she called out excitedly.
Michael was sitting in the living room. When he heard Carol's call, he was a little surprised. "How did you know I was back?"
"It's really you who's back!"
When Carol saw Michael, she rushed over excitedly with great strength and pushed him down onto the sofa.
"Well, I like your warm welcome!" Michael said with a smile and kissed her. "I wanted to give you a surprise, but I didn't expect you to be so smart that you guessed I was back."
"I don't know either. I just felt like you were back!" Carol said with a smile. "But how did you get in?"
"Have you forgotten that I can fly?"
Michael smiled and pointed to the balcony. Carol patted her head and said cutely, "Yeah, I'm really stupid. By the way, are you leaving again after you come back this time?"
"I'm not leaving, but I should leave here occasionally. You know, I have special abilities. I can be considered a superhero, so…"
"I understand, I understand!" Carol nodded repeatedly.
As long as they weren't separated by two places, it was normal for him to leave occasionally because of his busy schedule.
"By the way, you asked me to help you choose a house. I've already found one. I'll take you to see if you like it," Carol suddenly remembered and said.
Michael shook his head apologetically. "Let's look at this later when we have time. I have some things to deal with now. Do you have anything planned for this week? If not, can I take you somewhere?"
"I can arrange it," Carol said.
"That's fine. Then please arrange it as soon as possible. Once you've set it up, we'll leave!"
Michael planned to take her to Star City, partly for vacation and partly for a mission. Anyway, Carol knew his identity, so it wasn't inconvenient.
"Yeah!" Carol nodded, quickly got up from Michael and started making phone calls to arrange the itinerary.
Half an hour later, after she had finished her phone call and everything was settled, Michael carried her to the balcony, slowly floated into the air, and flew back towards Star City.
This was not the first time Michael had carried Carol to fly, but Carol was still excited. This feeling was completely different from flying in an airplane. "Where are we going?" Carol asked Michael curiously.
"Star City!"
Michael said, and the energy of the lantern ring was suddenly released around the two of them, transforming into an airplane. Michael and Carol sat together. Carol was very surprised; she didn't expect it to change like this.
"Why do we have to go to Star City?" After looking around curiously for a long time, Carol asked again.
"I'm going to find someone, a superhero in Star City. This can be considered my mission. I'll probably stay here for a week, and after that, I may have to leave because of other things," Michael explained simply.
Carol felt a little disappointed when she heard that Michael would leave in a week, but she became happy again after thinking about it. Michael had a mission to complete, but he still took her with him. Didn't that prove her importance to him?
