The group stepped through the door. The air changed immediately—heavier, colder. The stone walls were rough now, and faint echoes bounced with every step. The passage sloped down sharply, forcing them to move carefully.
Rhys led, his hand brushing the wall for balance. "Stay close. Don't separate."
Caria stayed alert, scanning every shadow. "Feels like the next challenge is more than physical."
Puddle hovered above, glowing softly. "Friends together. Strong together."
The passage opened into a wide chamber. Torches burned in iron brackets, but the light barely reached the far walls. At the center was a large platform, carved with old symbols. The air smelled of stone and dust.
Suddenly, the ground rumbled. From the shadows, a massive creature emerged. Its skin looked like cracked marble, and its eyes glowed faintly blue. It didn't move quickly, but its presence alone made the air heavy.
Rhys signaled the team. "Stay ready. Watch its movements."
