Day 6 and 7
The sixth and seventh day the Ship was beginning to fully take shape. The full shell of the Ship was complete, now many of the Shipwrights were in side the shell, building the rooms and filling the walls with insulation the rooms beginning to properly take shape with the floor being placed. It'd still be many more days until the Ships interior was ready for furnishing
Day 8
Most of the Crew spent their days inside, that is Kale and Leroy. Noir was able to explore the other parts of the Island, the Crew taking a day out and exploring the Carnival that was on the Entertainment side of Water 9
Screams from Kirk reverberated as he held the bar that held him in place knuckle white, the roller coaster zipping around up and down and even looping around. The trio all in great fear from the heights.
Raven however- didn't make the situation better, only smiling ear to ear as she watched them shout, as well as not making a sound when actually on the Coasters themselve. Then there was her comments "Imagine if while we're up there we get stuck and we starve to death."
"What if it all falls down, or someone's head gets torn off by being too tall." The jokes were horrific pictures to Jeanne and Kirk, who both complained to the Scholar in turn. Dezzi how ever just gave a Coy grin
Leroy and Kale however, tried playing Cards. But Kale frankly sucked quite badly at any of the games that they tried to play to pass the time. Noir however was always a joy to play games with. Really making Leroy think about what he was doing. Though he wasn't any good at the Collectible Card game 'Mahou'
Day 9
The Ship was finally starting to come together in full. The Rooms on the inside were being painted and varnished, with fresh coats of protection from any sort of mess that any of them could need. Some of the rooms needed special materials or special parameters for their purpose, from needing to be totally sterile, to needing sound proofing.
All of it was done to a picture perfect extent
A Burnt orange color trimmed the outside railing, mixing with the deep almost black hue of the Red Ironwood, other pieces of exposed wood with white trimming and detailing from the stairs and around the door frames that stood incredibly tall
Day 10. The Final Day of Construction
Rising early in the Morning, Calliope shifted her legs over the cot that she had been sleeping in for the past 12 hours at 4 in the morning. A temporary wash station of a basin and a small mirror in the corner.
Splashing some water on her face, and using the trickles of water to slick her hair back, she brought the dark hot pink locks into a ponytail, and wrapping the bandana around her forehead, and then the goggles on top before switching back into her work clothes.
She commanded her utility tool belt to her hand by the power of her Mag-Mag fruit and clipped it around her waist. Sliding her shoes boots on she flips the flap of the tent open and walks out. Lanterns lighting the way to the construction sight. Winslow leaving his own tent with a simple white stained shirt on
"Mornin!" Winslow said cheerily. "Fuck off…" Cali gave a smile and a groan as she scratched her messy hair. "Todays the day." She then said, cracking her back, placing her hands behind herself
"Yep. And everything should be arriving throughout the day. With the Latest Delivery estimated to be around 3pm." He gave a yawn, patting Cali on the back as the two walked
For the next many hours, the remaining small details of the Ship were put into place. Any carpets that needed to be put down were. Then the furniture was put into place, from chairs to tables, couches, the beds, dressers, cabinets. As well as appliances, machines, and anything else that wasn't built into the very foundations of the boat.
Glass moved into place, plugs fully wired through instead of lying limply on the ground, any Furniture that couldn't fit through any walkways were built in the rooms instead.
And finally. After another 11 hours, at exactly 3:33pm on the 12th, weeks before the beginning of Fall. The New Ship of the Red Sash Pirates was finished.
Chatter from the crew reverberated as they walked down the path to where they could see a giant white sheet sat covering the vehicle.
"Wow!" Leroy, shouted with wide eyes as he looked up at the top of the ship. "It's fuckin' huge!" They all looked at the covered structure with palpable excitement. Even the quieter of the Crew held excited looks.
"Okay! Finally! You're all here." Calliope said, Winslow having personally gone to get the crew.
"Okay, before we unveil it. I just want to say– Truly. From the bottom of my Heart. Thank you. Thank you dearly, for everything you've all done." He said waving his hand and gathering the other worker from Nuff Wrights and The Orphan Punks to gather around
"This is our thanks to you. It's taken over 200 hours to build. And specialty orders from all over the grand line and the world. Usually it'd take months, but with a few strings being pulled, we were able to get them here quicker." He clapped his hands together. "So– From me, the People Nuff Wrights, and all of Water 9…"
In one continuous voice, over 125 people all spoke in unison. "Thank you!"
"Now lets do it!" Calliope said running back up next to her new crew and used her Magnetic Powers to control a piece of metal at the end of the sheet "I present to you, the greatest ship that will ever sail the Seas–!"
In one motion, the Sheet was ripped up and over the entire thing revealing it in full!
"The Ember Blossom!"
"WOAH!" The crew said in some form in unison.
Standing at close to 125 feet at the peak of its mast, and over 200 feet long, and over 100 wide.
The Wood was a Dark Red Color, that in the Right light would look black, trimmed with red and white. Windows across the outside, it truly did look like a galleon mixed with a carrick.
There were over a dozen different rooms and over 4 floors through the entire thing. Each of the rooms were close to one another and just big enough to where there was no real need for hallways.
There was in total: A Living Room, Lounge Room, Smoke Room, Observatory, Gundeck, Workshop, Garden, Library, Crows Nest, Bar, Aquarium and Sitting Area, Galley Kitchen, Pantry, Dry Pantry, Laundry Room, Storage Room, Doctors Room, Music Room, Boiler and Engine room, Weight Room, Restroom, Bathroom, Crew Quarters, Game Room, Storage
The Figurehead at the front of the ship that was built into the rounded front stern looked incredible and fit the name of the ship. It looked like a ball of fire almost like a sun, and along the outer edge of the stern looked to be petals or vines
It truly was the greatest feat of Shipwright and Engineering that Water 9 had done in the past decades…
