"Uh, which way are we facing?" Leroy said, looking around as the small .45 rounds continued to ricochet off the hard metal of the Train. "Sorry about the Train Cali…" Leroy said, rubbing his head before picking out the front window to see that they were near the Spider Lily bridge.
"Don't worry about it dude." She said, as Leroy thumbed to the wall behind him. Calliope raised a balled fist then quickly flaring them out causing the metal of the roof to explode out like a broken soda can
But, instead of revealing a clear bridge, it revealed the bridge fully filled with Marines and CPA rushing towards them! Rifles raised, Marines forgone the Flintlocks they usually had and now had bolt action wooden rifles "Well those guys weren't there before!"
He said as he burst from the front! Speeding towards the group!
"Okay. Calliope, I'm gonna stick back and handle these guys while you all head forward. I know these guys will protect you, but I need to make sure the CPA doesn't get to you." He unslung the bolt gun on his back and pulled back the incredibly strong spring and loaded in a foot long railroad like spike nail.
"What? Are you nuts? You won't last five seconds out there!" Calliope Complained
"Yeah, you'd be better off just following behind us! We can handle most of these guys!" Jeanne said as she pulled off the front end of her rifle, making it a medium to close range weapon
Malle was willing to sacrifice himself to make sure CPA didn't get to her. But he was being rash about it.
"Fine, I'll come with you. But I'm sticking to the back to watch all of your backs. If you don't see me, that means it was for the best to give you an opening."
"Fine. Let's go!" Kirk said as he, Jeanne, Calliope, and Now Malle leapt out of the hole!
Noir, Kale, and Leroy had already been underway knocking dozens of CPA-5 members into the Torrential waters below! Malle twisted around and launched one of the nail! Speeding forward like a bullet and impaling a CPA-4 Member!
Calliope, with sweat on her face out of anxiousness, forced the tain to disassemble and create a wall of metal to block the Train Station assault, and then twisting on her feet and forming blocky boxing gloves made out of metal, looking like that of a robots hands
"Seriously! Another gate?!" Kirk complained, continuing to run towards the rest of the crew. Only for him to skid to a stop "Leroy!"
His voice was chastising, but reasonably so as Leroy was in the middle of stretching his arms to the top of the gate! "Gum gum…Catapult!" He yelled as he shot up and over the wall!
"Shoot…I over shot it!" He said as he went flying Halfway through the city inside the Octagon! He turned back to face the on coming Exalt, only for three CPA-8 Members to kick off the air and fly up towards the Captain! Eyes widening as he had to bring up his arms to block! Only for three legs to slam into him! Sending him rocketing to the ground! Smashing through a building and causing it to crumble to dust around him!
"Ow…Dick!" He grimaced.
"Well. We'll just have to catch up to him!" Noir said as he slammed a foot into the front gate! Causing it to be blown inwards! Flying through and piling on and over the large group of CPA members! Laying them flat against the ground as the thick doors smashed into the concrete of surrounding buildings!
While it was true that those like Noir and Kale could've easily caught up to The Captain in mere moments, that would leave the rest who weren't as strong totally vulnerable to the rest of The World Government Forces.
"Best not to keep him waiting!" Kale said, unsheathing his swords and running forth into the crowd of CPA, slicing and dicing his way through the crowd! The Chef following suit, sending CPA-5 Members high into the air and crashing through concrete walls of the the surrounding government buildings
"Atmo! Cold Snap!" Kirk spun his Nephobo over head, summoning up a large gust of wind before firing it out in front of him in a large swing! The Wind was frigid and cold! Like that of a blizzard! Stunning and causing frost to cover them! Dezzi dashing forward and smacking them out of the frost and knocking them out cold!
"Shock Paw Pounce!" They skid to a stop, their combat prowess had been getting better and better since when they'd struggled back in Arabasta. They all had! Even though Races like Minks and Fishmen had harsh plateaus and struggled surpassing their strength, The Two Red Sash had gone through so much that they'd cracked through it!
"Stop right there! You are in Violation of World Law!" A group of Marine Captains smashed into the ground in front of them! They all wore Variations of the Marine uniform, one with sleeveless coat, another with the full justice coat on his shoulders, while another was a half giant! Almost 13 ft tall! Only wearing the Justice coat on his shoulders.
"I'll take the one on the Left." Noir said. Lighting a cigarette.
"I'll take the one on the right…" He pulled the final sword from its sheath and stuck it between his teeth.
"Oh fuck! Great! We gotta handle the third one!" Jeanne swore as she rested her cannon on her hip, holding it by a carrying handle on the top. "We can handle him!" Dezzi said, electro sparking across their hands. Kirk next to them spinning and readying his nephobo! "Yeah!"
