"Ah shit!" Calliope Swore. Leaning forward as the Train was quickly approaching the Train Cars that Fonias had left behind. "Slow! But not too much! I just need time to move them!" Cali commanded Malle, who pulled down to the gears second position. Leroy watching as they worked.
"Aren't you worried?" Kirk asked, a worried look on his own face, watching as the Captain just went into a half squat. "Nah. She's got this." Leroy looked like he was stretch with how his legs were bent and spread apart. Muttering something under his breath. "Ring? No…Phase? No…Mode?"
"What are you doing?" Kale asked with a pursed brow. "Huh? Oh, I'm just-" Leroy stood to his feet and began throwing slow punches with a qusitive look on his face. "Just tryna, come up with a name for this move I've been thinking of."
He stopped and scratched his head. "The names are always the Hardest part…But I think I've got it…"
Mean while Calliope was gritting her teeth with a hand extended slight sparks of pink radiating from her palm as she flexed her fingers, commanding the metal of the cars in front of her to be lifted up, and moved out of the way. It was impressive enough that she was doing it with one hand, much like Leroy, but with a bit more difficulty.
Devil Fruits can Reflect and Utilize a person's strength in different ways. Since some people may have better speed than others, or physically be able to lift more than someone on the same level, this fact is true for Calliope. Whos Physical strength is immense, and would be able to lift the Trains by hand with moderate difficulty, it's better to utilize the strength of herself through her Devil Fruit, where she is not bound by her Physical strength, and is able to lift as much as she theoretically should be able to.
Though it should be noted, these moments and discrepancies are minute. And comes down to efficiency sake than true net positives and being out right better.
"Rah! Gah!" Calliope slung her hand to the side thrown the train car meters and meters away only to monstrously splash into the water! There was close to 10 cars to get through, wasting the Red Sashes time!
Calliope sweat bullets as the train picked up speed to what it was.
At the same time, Jeanne was on the ground, looking like she was dried out. Her lips slightly cracked and her skin looked pale. "Water…Water…"
The Stream Liner 2's wheels chugged along as the train was suddenly hit with a thick wall of fog. But they did not slow. The Driver knew that there would be nothing on the tracks, and there would be no accident, as a moment later, the Train broke out of the wall of fog!
But instead of being met with night…The Train broke into a sky that reflected Dusk. Clouds seemed to float lazily in the sky, as a low hanging light that looked to be the sun shined, barely peeking over the horizon. Shining a vibrant dark purple with the sun looking like a harsh color of gold.
"What the…" Ravens eyes squinted in confusion. To her, the moon had just been up in the sky, but now the Sun was on the Horizon… "What is this Island…"
The waters beneath and around this environment were rapid. Harshly splashing against the brides supports almost in torrents, with maelstroms forming. Waters white tipped like rapids or a typhon. But no storm was to be found.
Coming to a slow, Stream Liner one pulled in front of a small station. It wasn't ornate entirely, but had markings and carved like marble, while having the overall structure of sleek white and carved straight shapes. And awning coming out of a large gate door.
Leery was the first to stand. Striding to where Raven sat and speaking coldly "Get up. You've done well, now abide by your contract the rest of the way."
"What's the point…You were already willing to kill them now that they're after me." She refused to stand, looking away from the Zoan User. "And you keep putting them at more risk. If they come after us, they will be detained and let loose. But-"
He grabbed her arm roughly and pulled her to her feet "If you try to run, They'll be killed in the most ruthless way you can imagine."
Raven closed her eyes. She had so much fear in her body that it was a surprise she wasn't trembling. She had to do this… "Besides" Leery clicked the sea stone cuffs around her wrist. Making sure she had no power other than move. He spoke words into her ear that caused her to finally tremor. Eyes widening like saucers while her eyes shook.
They walked onto the concrete platform. Immediately they were surrounded by CPA-5 and 8. But instead of going through the process, since Raven was being chaperoned by Leery, they walked through the building with ease, and out the back. Passing by dozens and dozens of filing cabinets, CPA-1 and other World Government personnel
But- Once they left the Exist. They were met with a long thin strip of land, loose paved grass and flowers poking out of the grass. Blue Spider Lilies growing on long stalks and gently waving in the breeze. "They say they only have this grass here for when Prisoners are taking through their trial, that the last piece of nature they see, is that of the World Governments. So that they know, just truly what they've done, that they'll never see anything else like it again."
At the far end of the Grass path was a huge wall, carved and built with windows and spaces for over the massive population of The Citadel of Justice, huge wooden and metal doors at the end that pneumatically opened, an observing window with multiple CPA-2 agents watching from above. From above, the walls wrapped around the entire island. Having been flattened and built upon. Huge and Octagonal shaped.
The inside of the building moved like a blur to Raven. The sound of shoes against tile, windows and glass separating work spaces, phones ringing, and chatter filling the air.
But outside, The Outside she saw full well. Encompassed in the confines of the walls were building after building, concrete and sleek, from short and stout, to tall and slim. But they never passed 10 floors. They all served a part of the CPA, form communications, to filing, affairs, internal affairs, and all inbetween. But-
The most awe inspiring part was the huge building on the outside of the Octagonal Wall…
