Chapter 237 - The Story Of Everything

"Tournament?!" The Crew Practically all said at once.

"You'll See." Aowga Said as she crossed her hands behind her back. "You mention that you wish to explore and experience us, yes? And She's been writing since she entered the Grand Temple. Come Let me Show you something that would be worth writing about." She said spinning on her heel as some of the other elders had a look of shock on their faces. Others having a look of 'of course' on their faces as her straw sandals clapped against the smooth ornate carved clouderia

"Who is she exactly?" Raven Whispered to Aponiv. But the Entire crew was able to hear the words he spoke "That is the Grand Elder Councilwoman, Aowga. The Highest Member of The Council"

"While she does not hold more Authority than the Other Members. She is often looked to most often. That and she has seniority over everyone being over 140 years old."

Despite Being so old. She didn't look a day over 80…

"You comin' or not? I'm certain this isn't something you'll want to miss." She gave a cheeky wrinkled smile, one that reminded Leroy almost of Mamtha for a moment

The Group trailed after the woman as she crossed the meters to the far end of the room, where there sat what looked to be a large door, carvings of Lozenge shape surrounded by Triangles that shifted pointing inward and outward around the shape, exactly 12, embedded the door and in smaller fashion on the arch above it. All colored in the same colors that had been seen on the Feathers of the Skyderians Wings up until now.

Two of the other Elders accompanied her to the Door, and stood at either side. Two buttons where they stood. "Aowga. Are you Sure?"

"Of course I'm sure. I can see it." This Strange Phrase caused the two to blinky rapidly, but be put at ease as they both pushed the button at the same time. The Door could only be described as melting and shrinking away into the doorway, where small coves could be seen on either side.

Jeanne and Dezzi looked with wide eyes as the door shrunk away. Looking the arches up and down trying to figure out exactly how it happened.

"Reels." Aponiv said as Raven Chuckled. Having already guessed that was exactly what it was. But Jeanne was just so enamored in the moment that it really hadn't crossed her or Dezzi's mind yet.

As they entered the room, the crew was met with darkness. But to Dezzi, due to their Night Vision, they could see just barely what the room had to offer. And even the barest glimpse caused a giant smile to form.

A Light illuminated Aowga for a Moment. Like a lighter, a Small flame ignited from a Reel on her hip, she swirled the flame gently with her going through a repeated wave motion, bringing her hands together before quickly dipping down, bending her knees and shooting her hands to either side! The Flame had been split in two and zipped behind the crew and a pair of unseen holes! The sound of flames bursting to light bounced around as embedded lanterns in the walls all around the room came to life! Illuminating the room in its entirety!

"Wow…"

Yet again. The entire crew seemed in awe of the sight they saw. Eventually when on such a grand adventure they would get used to this perhaps? Or Perhaps not.

The Entire Room was covered in a Gigantic Mural, dazzling colors, painted shapes, characters spread across every surface except the floor. The Very top of the dome shaped roof had the same symbol as the door, but now with wings adorning the outside of it. Far more ornate and proper

"This." Aowga began speaking, walking to the middle of the room. "Is the Story of Everything…"

"You'd best take a seat. Because this will be a long one…"

450 Years Into the Past. The Land that was Known as Skyderia, went from another name 'Ska'la'. Which in the Original Language that was spoken by the People of the Sky Meant 'Vast Openness'

Within this Vast Openness of the Cloud Island, were the Planes of Clokosi that Had been seen before, but now much thicker and larger than when Cohoderia sat on these lands. The Wingson that Grazed were far more numerous.

The Big Horn Goat, grazed as well. The Closki in these large untamed plains would wist and coalesce into larger plants that resembled trees known as Bala. Cloud Trees. Only specific patches of Closki with rich fertilized soil and nutrients would sprout into the hardened brambles organism. The Old People of Ska'La would use this wood for plank houses, and simple structures. Using the leaves of Bala like thatch for roofs

They'd build Teepees and Smaller tents and structures from the hide and leather of Wingsons.

The Everyday lives of these early Sky Islanders was tumultuous with a balance of quietness. Many of this Era in the world were in different points of their societies or soon to be formed kingdoms and the kingdoms that were both meeting their end and their high points

As for the Small settlement of Ska'La, They hunted, gathered, traveled in small groups across the wide plains and grouped forest of Bala Trees. With in the White Sea were creatures that were used to such high altitudes, From the Literal Flying fish that had paper thin fins to soar through the thick sea clouds, to the large Than Sharks, apex predators of the White if it weren't for the hunting of the Ska'la that is.

But from time to time, as with any civilization. Conflict occurred.

From the West Bands of other Winged People came looking for Trouble. With Ranged weapons made from sinew and Bala wood, they slung arrows at those that went too close to the West, They were known As the Miwan. They painted themselves in White Dust from the Flowers of the Sky Island, mixed with the pigments of Scales from the Fish they caught. They were as well fiercely tattooed.

As for the Other Directions, there were those to the North and East as Well as the North East. The Niutidians which were known for their thick capes which they wrapped themselves in the North. Which had gotten some active Trading with the Ska'la.

There were also those from the East known as the Sherokines, known for their expressive Displays on their wings, were also extremely territorial.

And the Final Winged Ones from the North East were mysterious in their reclusiveness. They'd only been heard of by stories from the Niutdians. Spoke of Strange Powers that they held, only having known their name. Pactiese.
