Chapter 236 - The Grand Elder Council

All at once each of the Present Figures Stopped their muttering and turned to Aponiv. Half a Dozen Eyes held stern looks at the outsiders. But they gave their bow in return to the Warrior Chief.

"Welcome Back Grand Warrior Chief." They all Spoke before shifting their gaze the the Crew

The Elders All Looked them up and Down. It was Rare to see individuals of lighter toned skin than their own. And wingless people at that. Their gazes all looked back to Aponiv. Expecting him to introduce them to the group

Aponiv seemed to understand immediately and with his hand out he spoke "These are the Red Sash Pirates. And Their Captain Falcon D. Leroy." His hand shifted to Leroy. Who gave a small wave and a smile

"Pirates? Was there a fight?" One with wrinkled skin and deep eye bags asked. His wings were adorned in deep pale blue feathers along the rim, with a complimentary pale yellow adorning the feathers directly beneath. His Nose had a rod of Jade through it.

All of the elders that were present seemed to stiffen a bit, waiting for a response. Even all the way up here. They Knew what Pirate meant.

With a Partial Bated Breath Aponiv responded "Not Entirely. These Three" He said Gesturing to Noir, Kále and Leroy. "Are exceptional fighters. Even though they were new to this environment they were able to take Carlos, Atoni and Even myself off guard."

The 7 present seemed to gain intrigue as Aponiv talked "They as well have cursed fortunate among them."

Beads of sweat dripped down the Elders Foreheads at the Mention of Cursed Fortunate. "What has been bestowed upon you?" The Elders Gaze all shifted to Jeanne, Raven, and Leroy.

"Rubber" Leroy said pulling at his cheek

"Blossom" Raven said generating a hand from her hand

"Steam." Jeanne said with a Nervous look. Creating a puff from her hand

"You." An Elder with a Circlet made of a shiny metal and wide gauges in her ears spoke. Pointing to Leroy. "You are the Captain, Yes? You Wield immense power. So tell me."

"What is it that you seek with this place?"

Leroy was taken aback by the bluntness, he took a glance at Aponiv who held a firm look at him. His brow was solid, eyes hard as he waited to see what the Captain had to say. Leroy was confused not only how they knew not only who had Devil Fruits, but also that they could tell he was of 'Immense Strength' with a glance. He took a hard blink and shifted back to the woman who asked the question

"My Crew and I are Simply here to Explore and Experience this land of yours. We have no Ill intentions. And wish to only see what the rumored Sky Island exactly was. Those on the Blue Sea don't exactly believe that your land even exists. And we took that as a Challenge to see for ourselves. That and it was to continue the Dying wish of a friend we'd met. Whose dream was to bring the Knowledge of Native Sky Island and their peoples, if they existed, to the Blue Sea as a Final Story of Adventure."

Leroy Continued to Explain to the Elders that the People of the Blue Sea know of Sky Islands, but Raven mentions that most Sky Islands are From people who travel to the sky to settle uninhabited Land or Create their own Floating Islands. But as with Islands with Native Peoples on them, aren't common or aren't well documented at all.

The Elders mentioned that they Could Care Less if the Blue Sea cared about them and their existence or not. While they are certainly not an Isolationist People, the Matters of those from below did not concern them. They were down there and they were up here. A similar sentiment that those of the Blue Carried. Raven mentioned that, wouldn't they want the people of the World Below to know that they even existed? At least, that they were alive?

"While it would bring us great joy to share our unique lives and history to the people below. Even with the few outsiders we've met in the past 100 years. And the History from the Early Days. We know that the world may not be ready for us. Or perhaps the risk is too great to the people of Skyderia."

The Elders continued and it was eventually come to a conclusion by vote of the present 7 individuals that the Crew of Outsiders were allowed to stay. And the duration of their stay would last until the end of the Games. Though what exactly these games were, was still an unknown. This was a point of contention to one of the elders seated who Aponiv said was known as Mauhtia.

Who seemed to be an older member of the council with their thinning white hair, and double braided hair. Questioning rather Outsiders should even be allowed to view the Games. But the one with the Circlet, known as Agowa, said that they could tell that the Crew had no ill will. And that if anything, they should be allowed to participate in the games, if they abided by the rules and played fair.

"After all, those three there may just have it to easy if they make it to the Tournament"
