Michael had long understood a simple truth. A man carrying treasures coveted by others was guilty by default. Whether he had committed any crime was irrelevant. The moment others realized what he possessed or felt he possessed something incredible, someone would inevitably begin calculating how to obtain it.
Because of that, it didn't matter which organization had come knocking on his door today. As long as they approached him as a force rather than as individuals, Michael would instinctively regard them as potential enemies.
