Avery stared blankly at the woman Alex called Aunt.
She looked familiar; however, she couldn't pinpoint where she had seen her. Hannah pulled away from the hug and held Alex's arms.
" So tell me. Where is she? The lovely lady who made you quit your Playboy lifestyle." Hannah teased.
Alex smiled shyly at his aunt.
" C'mon Aunt. Don't tag me in that. That was a long time ago. But she's here with me." Alex said as he walked towards Avery.
Avery was glued to the floor, her fingers rubbing her necklace.
This was it. She was finally meeting her. Alex's Aunt.
" She doesn't bite" Alex whispered in her ear.
Avery rolled her eyes at him.
Hannah furrowed her brows when she saw Avery. She scrunched her eyes.
When Avery got closer to her she said;
" Haven't we met before? Hold on. You helped me in the mall the last time, right?" Hannah said excitedly.
Avery made an Oh sound. She had the feeling she knew her somewhere.
" Oh, yeah, Hannah. Right?" Avery said
Hannah pulled her into a hug. However, Avery was having conflicting emotions brewing inside her. If Hannah is the woman she helped and also Alex's Aunt, how can she get the divorce?. She bit her lower lip. She had to think of another alternative.
