The ground cracked as Lucien ran toward Emrys with lightning-fast speed.
Lucien's fists were completely wrapped in energy. When he got close, he used his right hand to throw a punch aimed at the back of Emrys's neck.
But the air itself stopped the attack, as if the wind flicked the prince's punch upward. Lucien's face immediately showed shock. Emrys did not even move from where he stood.
This only made the prince even angrier, and he continued attacking, but the wind kept slapping his punches away. With an annoyed growl, he released flames from one of his strikes.
But just like earlier, the flames never reached Emrys's body and only scattered around him.
Emrys finally turned to face him, his eyes glowing red. But Lucien didn't care and kept trying to attack. The wind surrounding Emrys was too strong! What kind of power did this man have?! Why couldn't Lucien's fire break through it?!
Lucien formed a ball of fire and launched it at Emrys at close range, but before it could explode right in front of Emrys's face, the wind simply swallowed it, and it vanished instantly.
Lucien reappeared six meters above Emrys, floating, and created countless fire arrows around him. He launched them downward in rapid succession toward Emrys.
Emrys lost focus. When the strong invisible wind barrier disappeared, he quickly dodged all the arrows.
The ground exploded with every hit, creating deafening noise that woke many students.
When Lucien landed on the ground, smoke filled the area. Soon after, a gust of wind swept away the smoke, and Lucien's eyes widened as he sensed Emrys behind him.
His right fist ignited as he quickly twisted and punched. But Emrys slapped the strike downward, then kicked the prince in the stomach. Lucien spun in midair, jumped, and brought his flaming foot down toward Emrys's head.
Emrys sidestepped, and the ground exploded where the kick hit, leaving a wide crack.
Lucien rushed forward and kicked straight at Emrys's stomach, but Emrys slapped it downward again and tilted his head left to dodge the follow-up punch.
Lucien bent down and spun with a horizontal flaming kick.
Emrys stomped the ground, causing a tremor that cracked the earth. Lucien lost his balance on the uneven ground and nearly fell to his knees, too late to avoid the direct slap to his face.
A burst of wind exploded from the slap, sending Lucien flying several meters, his nose bleeding, unconscious.
Emrys exhaled.
The reason he only revealed himself now was because he wanted to test how long he could maintain the invisible wind barrier he had recently learned.
To test its strength, he intentionally appeared before the prince — and he confirmed that the ability was powerful. But since it was new, he couldn't maintain it for too long.
He hid from everyone until night so he could train. Now he had already reached 4th Grade Dragon.
He decided it would be best to keep his entire body protected at all times. Once he fully mastered the invisible wind barrier, which wrapped ten inches thick around him, he would surely grow stronger.
Before leaving, he glanced toward where Jin had been, but the young man was no longer on the rooftop.
At the same moment, Jin was suddenly behind him, lightning coating his right hand as he silently released it toward Emrys's back.
But to Jin's shock, the lightning passed through Emrys and destroyed an entire floor of the building behind them — while Emrys held Jin by the wrist.
Impossible. He still sensed me even though I moved so carefully? And with the speed of my attack, he shouldn't have dodged it. Incredible, Jin thought.
They stared at each other, and Jin immediately released electricity from his whole body.
Emrys was caught in the blast and thrown away, forcing him to let go of Jin.
Emrys coughed, partially paralyzed. He tried to stand, but Jin's lightning kick struck him in the face.
The ground exploded and cracked from the scattered electricity as Emrys was thrown back again.
When he managed to stand up, his left knee was numb, forcing him to kneel. Jin reappeared behind him — he was so fast! — and delivered another lightning kick to Emrys's temple.
Emrys was sent crashing through a wall and out to the other side.
Bits of cement and wood scattered as he slammed onto the street.
He couldn't understand how a 3rd Grade Cat could actually overpower him in speed.
Emrys stood again, irritated, spitting blood. He tried sensing his surroundings, but at that moment, a lightning spear shot straight toward his face.
