"There sure were a lot of people who got beaten up last night…" Saitama muttered.
The young man's face turned red with anger. "I'm Charanko, Master Bang's top disciple!"
"Ohhh~" Saitama suddenly understood.
"Master Bang is the world's greatest martial artist! I won't let you insult him!" Charanko declared passionately.
Chu Yang smacked his lips.
"To be blunt, every so-called martial artist in this world is trash in my eyes."
Damn! Ruthless!
Tanktop Master and Mumen Rider felt that Chu Yang had gone too far. That was practically shitting on everyone's heads.
Charanko's eyes burned with rage. He raised his crutch, ready to fight to the death.
Despite his injuries, his sheer fury seemed to restore his body to full function—a true medical miracle.
Chu Yang flicked his left hand, deflecting the crutch, then lightly bumped his shoulder into Charanko. The motion was fluid, effortless.
Before Charanko even realized what happened, he had already flown onto another hospital bed, lying there peacefully—looking like he was about to pass away.
Everyone was stunned.
What just happened?
How did he end up in bed in the blink of an eye?
Even Charanko himself was baffled.
Only Saitama had seen Chu Yang's move clearly. Excited, he said, "Your martial arts are interesting. Even Bang couldn't pull off something like that."
Charanko suddenly realized that Chu Yang truly was a martial arts master. His face turned red in embarrassment.
"So what if you know martial arts?"
"Does that give you the right to insult Master Bang?"
Charanko refused to back down.
Chu Yang frowned. "How do you know I'm not telling the truth? Do you even know me?"
Charanko was at a loss for words.
"Enough, enough. Senior Yang, this is a hospital. Arguing with patients isn't good…"
Genos stepped between them to defuse the situation.
If not for the fact that Charanko was injured, Chu Yang would have already beaten the crap out of him.
Expressionless, Chu Yang ignored Charanko and left the room.
Saitama was about to follow but was stopped by Charanko.
"If you want to learn martial arts, you must go to Master Bang! He admires you and will teach you everything!" Charanko insisted, stuffing a ticket into Saitama's pocket. "If nothing else, go check this out. Don't trust that fraud!"
Saitama ignored him and left.
Tanktop Master picked up a communicator and reported the incident to headquarters, feeling irritated by Chu Yang's attitude.
Meanwhile, the Hero Association, already looking for trouble with Chu Yang, wasted no time informing Bang.
They believed that while Chu Yang might be able to restrain Tatsumaki, he wouldn't necessarily stand a chance against Bang—especially since Bang's martial arts countered all humanoid opponents.
At that moment, Bang was searching for Garou to settle matters once and for all. Upon receiving the news, he stopped in his tracks.
"What is it?"
His older brother, Bomb, a fellow martial arts master, noticed his reaction.
"Something interesting," Bang replied, reading the report with a faint smile.
He wasn't angry. Instead, he felt an intense fighting spirit rise within him.
"Let's go. I have a personal desire to fulfill before I die."
The next day, Saitama arrived at the House of Evolution bright and early, ready to learn martial arts—only to find two old men waiting for Chu Yang.
"Are they here to fight you?"
Saitama leaned in and whispered into Chu Yang's ear.
The image of Charanko raging in the hospital room yesterday was still vividly imprinted in his mind.
"Bingo! You got it right!"
"I'll reward you with a martial arts technique later."
Chu Yang smiled and walked toward Bang.
Bomb held a cold expression as he scrutinized Chu Yang. He had only learned about yesterday's events after arriving here.
Because of that, his gaze toward Chu Yang was filled with hostility.
Bang chuckled. "I just learned that you practice martial arts, so I had the idea of sparring with you. Don't overthink it—it's just a friendly match."
Chu Yang nodded without saying much. The two of them immediately assumed their stances.
Bang and Bomb's expressions changed.
As the saying goes, "An amateur watches the excitement; an expert sees the technique."
The moment Chu Yang took his stance, an aura of natural mastery emanated from him, stunning both of them.
The brothers exchanged glances.
Their hearts tensed.
He intended to take them both on at once!
"Bang, this trip was definitely worth it."
"He's a true expert."
Bomb spoke first, rolling his shoulders to indicate his readiness to fight.
"Then let me go first."
Bang still couldn't bring himself to team up against Chu Yang.
Bomb shot him a glance and secretly shook his head. If he didn't step in now, he'd be forced to later anyway.
But he knew Bang's personality—indecisive yet incredibly stubborn.
"Kid, are you just going to stand there and make me attack first? You're looking down on me!"
Seeing that Chu Yang hadn't made a move, Bomb's face darkened.
"Then, please be careful, old man."
Chu Yang sighed. He was worried that if he struck too hard, the old man wouldn't even have a chance to fight back.
But since Bomb insisted, he'd oblige!
Chu Yang's arm trembled, and a deafening dragon's roar echoed through the air. His first move was the most iconic technique of the Eighteen Dragon Subduing Palms—Regret of the Dragon!
Regret of the Dragon was powerful because of its endless residual force.
A golden dragon, formed from pure palm energy, charged at Bomb with terrifying might. The continuous dragon roars in his ears almost made him lose his focus.
"Whirlwind Iron-Cutting Fist!"
Bomb roared to boost his morale. His punch whipped up a violent storm, transforming into razor-sharp wind blades capable of slicing through steel as they clashed with the golden dragon.
Normally, his target would be shredded into pieces—this move had never failed him.
But when the golden dragon and the Iron-Cutting Storm collided, the first thing to be obliterated was Bomb's prized technique.
Regret of the Dragon—its power never ceases!
Bomb threw another desperate punch but was ultimately sent flying by the overwhelming force, letting out a pained cry.
One move!
Bomb was defeated!
Chu Yang turned to Bang. "Are you sure you don't want to fight?"
Bang snapped out of his shock. Chu Yang had just displayed a martial art he had never seen before.
"Hahaha!"
Bang laughed, his expression growing more excited. What could be more thrilling than battling a martial arts master?
With a loud shout, his muscles swelled.
His upper garment burst apart, revealing a well-built physique that defied his eighty years of age.
At that moment, Bomb, who had been knocked down by Chu Yang's palm strike, flipped back onto his feet. He patted the dust off his body and shook his head. "I really am getting old. I couldn't even withstand a single hit from a youngster. But…"
"If you think that was enough to take me down, you're underestimating me!"
The two brothers stood back to back, their energies intertwining, growing increasingly menacing by the second.
The next instant—
They turned into black shadows, charging toward Chu Yang in perfect synchronization, their punches landing in a relentless rhythm, giving him no time to react.
Bomb's punches were fierce and destructive, while Bang's Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist specialized in countering strength with softness.
Their combined assault was seamless.
If Chu Yang used Shunpo or Instant Transmission, they wouldn't even be able to touch his clothes.
Yet, Chu Yang remained still, activating Indestructible Golden Body—a technique from Jue Wushen.
Their storm-like attacks rained down on him, but he remained unscathed.
Basic attacks can't break through defense. At the very least, you need a special move!
Bang seemed to realize this and concentrated all his strength into his fingertips, preparing a full-force strike to break through Chu Yang's defense.
His Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist relied more on finger techniques than punches—his strongest move also came from his two-finger strike.
Focusing his power into a single point, he actually managed to pierce through the Indestructible Golden Body, targeting Chu Yang's chest.
But Chu Yang remained unmoved.
He pressed down on Bang's fingers, then pulled back with a mysterious force, throwing Bang off balance.
This gentle force felt strangely familiar to Bang—similar to his Water Stream Rock Smashing Fist.
Chu Yang wasn't disappointed that his Indestructible Golden Body had been breached—he had just learned it. Instead, he switched to Tai Chi.
Tai Chi was his most refined martial art.
As soon as he unleashed its intent, both Bang and Bomb felt their movements slow down, as if they had fallen into a swamp.
Their fierce attacks were neutralized, vanishing without a trace.
Bang was stunned—this completely shattered his understanding of martial arts.
Bomb wore the same shocked expression.
They struggled to break free, but the more they fought, the deeper they sank, as if carrying a thousand-pound burden.
Chu Yang's arms trembled slightly, and the two of them were instantly sent flying.
Bang struggled to stand, breathing heavily, his exhaustion making him feel decades older.
Bomb was in slightly better shape. He sighed deeply. "We lost…"
Bang nodded. They still had an even stronger combined technique, but Chu Yang hadn't even gone all out. The gap between them was simply too vast.
They abandoned the idea of continuing the fight.
Chu Yang retracted his stance, his aura returning to normal.
He still had plenty of techniques he hadn't used—Ten Thousand Swords Return to One, Ten Directions Invincible, Sword Twenty-Three…
If these two old men were stubborn, he'd give them an eye-opening experience.
"You were right—aside from you, every other martial artist in the world is trash!"
Bomb forced out the words, his proud martial beliefs shattered.
"In martial arts, you only need to be stronger than yourself, not others." Chu Yang responded.
Bomb was stunned and pondered those words carefully.
Bang, on the other hand, wasn't too upset—he actually felt relieved. He chuckled. "You're still young. You'll reach even greater heights in the future. Just thinking about it excites this old man."
Chu Yang smiled. "I'll take that as a blessing."
What started as a challenge ended up as a friendly martial exchange.
The atmosphere turned pleasant.
Genos and Saitama, who had been watching, were completely dumbfounded. Bang and Bomb were indeed strong, but Chu Yang was clearly on another level.
And… he was way cooler!
"Hey, hey, that golden… thing—how did you make it appear?"
"That's a dragon! Show some respect!"
"Oh… a dragon… whatever! How did you do it?!"
"It's complicated. You need to learn first."
"If I learn it, can I do that too?"
"Depends on your physique."
Saitama nearly lost his mind. Why did everything come down to physique again?!
Bang suddenly had a thought that startled him.
If he didn't say it now, he might regret it forever.
Just as he was about to speak, he saw Bomb striding toward Chu Yang.
"Hey, kid, if you're teaching him, why not teach me too?"
Bomb kept a straight face, showing no sign of humility.
Bang coughed and stepped forward. "If we're all learning, then count me in. You can charge tuition."
Chu Yang grinned playfully.
"Call me Master first!"
