She was also a Fuinjutsu master and could work with the curses. Though not better than Orochimaru, she could still make do with it.
…
Shizune looked at Sakura who seemed to be nearly drooping.
"Are you okay?"
She asked. What could be the reason for Sakura getting so upset?
"I thought I was getting close to him after learning under Lady Tsunade but it seems that I am even farther behind now."
Sakura muttered slowly, exhaustion obvious in her tired eyes.
This was very different from her expectations. She knew she was growing but to catch up to him? It seemed impossible.
"A teleportation technique, a real Sage, and then the techniques that he has already learned from her."
Sakura sighed. There was no way she could match all that progress in a few months, not even in years.
"It's okay. There's no point comparing with someone like him. You should be focusing on your medical ninjutsu."
Shocked, Shizune glanced at Sakura. She had never expected this to come out from her.
Sakura was talented and hardworking, no doubt. But she never knew that Reko would be putting so much pressure on her.
Now that she thought about it, Reko did seem to be collecting skills like anything but skills.
Everything he wanted, he just learned. This could be very discouraging for many shinobi if they were to know of it.
"He did not seem any interested in leveling up his skills while you are genuinely interested in the medical skills."
Shizune tried to console the young shinobi who was far stronger than her.
She wasn't even sure if she should be doing this but Tsunade was absent, she was the only adult there.
…
Back at the remodeling of terrain.
"So… you want to go and see my personal space?"
The hamster king hesitated before asking. He wanted to get an opinion on his space, the terrain, from Reko.
"Is it like with you, in you? Linked to you somehow?"
Reko asked, curious. Was it similar to what Obito had? Or something else.
"Linked to me? In some way, but it would not take long to reach there."
The hamster king stopped for a second, stared at Reko, before answering.
He had created that space from scratch. So, it could be defined as being linked to him.
But he also understood what Reko meant.
No, he could not just directly enter that space from here, at least not quickly. It took time to directly enter that space.
The hamster king sat down, closing his eyes as he focused on the space around him.
Using his hands, he seemed to be tearing open the reality, the space in front of him, and he opened a portal.
"Let's go!"
He ordered Reko to rush into the hole he tore in the space, just enough for Reko to get into.
However, Reko was familiar with space manipulation techniques, he knew he would not get restricted by the size of the hole.
As he entered the space, it was big, pretty big, four square kilometres.
Though, it looked ugly. The terrain was plain and the trees were
"Nice place…"
He looked at the hamster king's eager face and gave a perfunctory Praise for the aesthetics of the place.
"Right? I worked very hard for that."
The hamster king looked very proud, not well versed in human communications. He thought that Reko really admired his space.
'What hard, it's not at all okay, looks packed, unnecessarily stuffed.'
"Why don't you help me remodel this? I will let you change it to your liking."
He eagerly gave Reko a proposal. This was his intention from the start, to have Reko remodel this place for him.
"Hmm? Sure."
…
"Ohh! Where were you? We thought you went back to the village to eat."
Naruto exclaimed after finally seeing Reko appear out of just nowhere.
He had recently found out something suspicious. The food that Reko had been eating was not the same as theirs.
His plate appeared and smelled better, more tasty.
After asking Jiraiya, he found out that his instincts were true. Reko had been going back to the village and a few other places to get something according to his cravings.
"Yeah. I was just about to. Byee."
Reko smiled looking at Naruto being super excited. He was really exhausted after doing all the remodeling of The hamster king's place but seeing the kid filled him with a strange energy.
Though, he needed good food from the village, a good bowl of ramen to feel even better.
So, he went there.
"Nooo!!!!"
Naruto shouted.
Disappointed, he was very close. He could literally see the ramen being cooked for him.
But he missed it!
Just like that, Reko was gone!
"He disappeared again! Damn it! I thought I could get ramen this time!"
Clutching the hair on his head, he kneeled on the floor dramatically, really frustrated.
Jiraiya looked at him, smiling, as he enjoyed his normal meal. He was not that fascinated with good food. He had other things he looked forward to.
"You were close. Probably next time, kiddo."
Jiraiya chuckled as he consoled Naruto. Very aware that Reko did it intentionally to just tease Naruto.
Bringing a bowl of good ramen would not be an issue for Reko.
…
Reko instantly appeared near the ramen shop. He had to jump five times but it was just a second of time. Nothing much.
"Ahh, finally."
As he sat down at the ramen shop, he sighed, ready to devour his meal.
"One bowl, my usual."
He ordered, smiling at the beautiful lady that worked alongside the shopkeeper.
She moved her hands speedily, quickly organising things for Reko's order while her father, Teuchi, stared daggers at Reko.
"There he is!!"
All of sudden, a shout could be heard from a few meters away from the ramen shop.
The anbu had finally spotted Reko. They had been waiting for the guy according to the orders.
