Chapter 94 - The True Immortals:A Marriage Ordered by Power

One of the younger Luo Clan members, dressed in lavish robes, leaned toward his neighbour, his voice barely a whisper. "Who does he think he is, standing there like that?"

The neighbour, a woman with a sharp, calculating gaze, shot him a smirk. "Can't you tell? That's Shen Wuyin. The number one disciple of the Blackdragon Sect."

The whispers rippled through the room, quickly growing louder.

"Did you hear? He married Xu Yunfei. And now... he's here, with the Ancestor of the Luo Clan."

"Imagine that... being married to Luo Xinaling. Few would dare dream of a life like that."

But before the murmurs could escalate any further, Luo Xinaling's voice sliced through the air, cutting the room's chatter dead.

"Enough."

Her tone, icy and unwavering, silenced the crowd instantly. There was no question in her voice, no room for defiance — the authority she commanded was absolute.

"I want our marriage tomorrow."

Luo Xinaling's voice rang out clearly, her tone calm yet carrying an edge that cut sharper than any blade.

"Do you all hear me? Tomorrow. Not the day after. Not the week after. Not next month. Not next year."Her gaze swept across the hall, cold and absolute. "Tomorrow."

The Luo Clan members stiffened, the weight of her command sinking in.

"Repeat what I just said," she added softly — almost gentle, yet no one in the room mistook it for a request."Say it. Now."

Silence pressed against the walls. No one dared breathe too loudly. Then, one by one, they began to echo her words…

"Tomorrow… the marriage will take place…"

"Good. That's all. You may leave. I want only Shen here with me."

Her words were quiet, almost casual — but the command beneath them was absolute.

The hall emptied in seconds. No hesitation, no lingering. Every Luo Clan member bowed and retreated quickly, their footsteps fading until it was just the two of us.

I remained standing, straight-backed, meeting her gaze without flinching.

Luo Xinaling watched me for a long moment. Not speaking. Not blinking. Simply observing me as though weighing every breath I took.

Finally, she tilted her head slightly.

"Are you fine with the arrangements?" she asked.

"Yes."

"Good," she replied, a small amused smile touching her lips. "Not that it would've mattered. Even if you disagreed, I wouldn't have changed it."

Her smile deepened — sharp, confident, knowing.

Luo Xinaling's smile shifted — softer at first, then sharpening with intention.

"About Luo Yeling, my eldest daughter… and Luo Zhenhai, my youngest son."She spoke their names with a calmness that felt too controlled."As I said, they'll be under your care. They'll live with you in your estate — even though they're no longer children, and even though we're immortals."

Her eyes narrowed slightly, studying me.

"I still want them under your care," she continued. "Since you killed their two fathers."

Her smile widened then — elegant, dangerous, amused — as though the topic were nothing more than casual conversation.

Luo Xinaling rose from her throne without a word. She stepped forward—yet her feet never touched the floor. The air rippled beneath her, turning clear and fluid like a thin sheet of water. She walked across it effortlessly, each step light and controlled, until she floated directly in front of me.

Eye to eye.

She studied my face for a long moment before speaking.

"Tell me," she said softly, "can you shrink your height?"

Her gaze travelled up and down the length of me, clearly unimpressed by how far she had to tilt her head back.

"You must know it hurts my neck looking up at you all the time," she continued, clicking her tongue lightly. "I am a tall woman myself—nine feet three."

She leaned closer, eyes narrowing.

"But you… you're over thirteen feet tall. Even for me, that's troublesome."

A faint, almost teasing smile tugged at her lips as she waited for my answer.

"You can change your height yourself, can't you?" I asked her calmly.

Luo Xinaling raised a brow at me.

"I could," she said, her voice smooth and cool, "but I asked you first."

She floated a little closer, expression sharpening just slightly.

"And this," she added, "is the second time I've asked you."

Her tone wasn't angry — just firm, expectant, the kind of voice that made it clear she was used to being obeyed.

Her eyes stayed locked on mine, waiting.

She waited.

So I shrank my height down to match hers exactly. When our eyes aligned perfectly, she gave a small approving nod and drifted back down to the floor, landing lightly on her bare feet.

"Much better," she said, her gaze sweeping over me with open satisfaction.

Then, without hesitation, she asked,"What should we call our future children, then?"

I stared at her."…You're asking about children now? And more than one?"

She smiled — calm, confident, utterly unfazed.

"Of course. You are the descendant of Emperor Genesis. Your bloodline is the strongest in all of Mìngjiè Xiānlù. He created this realm without a single drop of cultivation — a true origin force. Why shouldn't I have children with you?"

She stepped closer, her voice low and sure.

"Our children will be strong. Stronger than any I have brought into this world. They will stand at the top, no matter how many others I have."Her eyes gleamed with certainty."I have that much faith in your bloodline."

She came closer, her steps slow, deliberate — the kind of confidence only someone like her could carry.

"Should we try today?" she asked softly. "We don't need to wait for the marriage tomorrow. I want your child as soon as possible… and I'll raise them myself, of course. With you beside me."Her smile deepened, warm and dangerous at the same time.

I looked at her."You already want me to look after your two children. And they're not even mine."

She laughed under her breath — a light, amused sound.

"Those two are some of my favourite children," she said. "And since you are one of my favourite soon-to-be husbands, it's only natural you take care of them for me."

She moved even closer, until her scent, her presence, her aura pressed against me.

"I need to focus on our future children together," she continued, voice dipping into something more intimate. "It's been a while since I've raised children myself. Sometimes I let my husbands handle it alone… or the servants. Of course, those two are adults now."Her smile sharpened."But I thought it would be interesting to see the man who killed their two fathers take care of them."

Her hand rose and settled against my face, cool and soft, her thumb brushing my cheek.

"Don't you think so, Shen Wuyin?" she murmured.

I met her stare with the same cold, dead eyes I always carried — the same kind she returned to me. Neither of us flinched. Neither of us softened. It was simply what we were.

I spoke to her quietly."If that's what you want… fine. I won't prevent having children with you."

Her eyes brightened with satisfaction."That's good. Then follow me to my bedchambers."

I followed her through the hall, and when we entered her room, the first thing that struck me was how immaculate it was. Everything was spotless — organised with a precision that bordered on obsessive.

The chamber itself was vast, far larger than any ordinary person would ever need. At its centre stood an enormous bed, wide enough to fit more than eight people comfortably. The room felt expansive, luxurious, crafted for someone who had lived a long time and knew exactly what she liked.

She had everything a woman of status could desire: a vanity for her makeup, a private dressing room, a deep bath carved from polished stone, and rows of finely crafted robes.

One robe in particular drew my eye — a white garment embroidered with dark blue fish, the detailed patterns almost alive under the soft light. It was expensive. Elegant. Ancient.

Shelves along the wall held an array of alcohol, collected from places far older than the Luo Clan itself. The colours of her bed matched the rest of her aesthetic — deep blue blended with pale blue, cool and calm like flowing water. Even the curtains, both around the windows and hanging from the bed, shared the same hues.

It was a room that reflected her perfectly: cold, beautiful, ordered… and undeniably powerful.

I lay back on her bed, watching as Luo Xinaling loosened her robes and let them slip from her body. She smiled at me the entire time — slow, deliberate, confident. I didn't look away. Her bare form came into view, elegant and dangerous in equal measure. Her figure was exquisite, her beauty effortless — the kind only someone born with power, intelligence, and a cold, calculating heart could possess. A woman who knew how to use every part of herself to her advantage.

She approached me with that same measured grace, the air bending around her presence.

Then she leaned in, her lips brushing my ear as her voice curled softly into it.

"You still haven't told me," she whispered, a quiet chuckle following her words, "what you find so… beautifully unhinged about me."

Her tongue traced lightly along my ear before her body pressed against mine. She lay across my lap, her skin warm against me, her breasts soft as she rested them firmly against my chest.

I spoke to her in my quiet, cold voice.

"I won't deny you appeal to me. Nothing more needs to be said."

I lowered my head and dragged my tongue along her neck. She smiled at the contact — slow, pleased, almost triumphant.

"You appeal to me as well," she murmured, her breath brushing my ear. "You annoy me. You're arrogant. You don't listen. And you don't fear me."

Her fingers slid through my hair, tilting my face just slightly.

"But that," she whispered, "is exactly what I find so attractive about you, Shen Wuyin."

She let the words settle before continuing, her tone shifting into something deeper, hungrier.

"And your bloodline… that draws me even more. To bear the child of a descendant of the Creator of our realm is a feat that will be spoken of even in the far future. A tale we will read ourselves, one day."

Her lips grazed my ear.

"Our children will understand their worth the moment they take their first breath — because of what our bloodlines are when combined. Don't you think so?"

I didn't respond. I simply continued kissing and licking along her neck and ears. She smirked at my silence, unbothered — she didn't want answers right now.

She only cared about the moment. And she was enjoying every second of it.

I lay awake, staring at the ceiling while Luo Xinaling slept beside me.Exhausted from our night together, she clung to me tightly, her breathing soft and steady.

Asleep… she looked almost innocent.Docile.Peaceful.Nothing like the unhinged, erratic woman she was when awake — cold, calculating, detached from everything except the select few she chose to care about.

But that was simply her nature. And I understood it.

My hand rested lightly on her stomach.

We had done the deed.

She was pregnant.

I could sense it clearly — four distinct life forces forming within her.Two boys. Two girls.

All four growing rapidly, their presence already strong, already ancient… already tied to both our bloodlines.
