Chapter 1146 - Chapter 1141: A Fleeting May

With that thought in mind, Seimei didn't waste any more time. He dove right back into his training.

And just like that, another week of intense training passed.

In the blink of an eye, it was early April.

Late that night, under the glow of Moonlight Island, inside the volcano below, Seimei finished his final round of training.

With a flicker of thought, he used the Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport back to the open clearing at the center of the island.

As he waited for his body to heal naturally, he took a moment to reflect on the past week's progress. Based on his gains, he roughly estimated how long it would take for his next physical transformation.

As expected, redirecting the six hours previously spent on the Mirror Heart Technique to physical enhancement had drastically shortened the time needed for his body to reach the transformation point. Originally, he'd estimated it would take about seven months. Now, it would take less than five—a massive improvement.

Seimei couldn't help but feel pleased about that.

So, after resting for the night, he threw himself back into his training with full focus.

Time flew by, and before he knew it, late August had arrived.

The weather had started to cool.

That evening, Seimei completed another round of his "Body Extreme" training and teleported out of the volcano beneath Moonlight Island.

A chilly breeze brushed against his face, making him shiver slightly. He tightened his clothes and began waiting for his body to recover.

It was worth noting that after nearly five months of relentless training, he could feel that familiar barrier again. His body's efficiency in physical enhancement had noticeably dropped.

At this rate, he estimated it would take just one more week to hit the transformation threshold.

Unfortunately, today marked the end of his ten-day intensive training cycle. Tomorrow, he was due for a break. The breakthrough would have to wait until his next training cycle.

On top of that, today was also the day he needed to update his intelligence from the Hidden Stone, Cloud, and Mist Villages. There was no room for delays.

Clearing his mind, Seimei sensed his body. The damage from the harsh volcanic environment had fully healed. With that confirmed, he dispelled his Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.

In an instant, all his shadow clones—both on and off the island—dissolved.

A flood of memories rushed into his mind.

As usual, Seimei set the memories aside for a moment, storing the returning chakra and natural energy first. Only then did he start sifting through the information.

Time ticked by.

After about fifteen minutes, Seimei had gone through all the memories, fully absorbing the training experiences and insights they contained.

In that moment, he could clearly feel his understanding of fusing the seven chakra natures deepen just a bit more. Maybe, once his "Mind" attribute improved again, he could try increasing the number of shadow clones working on Bloodline Limit development.

The thought crossed his mind but was quickly pushed aside.

His body hadn't even transformed yet. Thinking about boosting his "Mind" attribute was getting ahead of himself.

Seimei looked up, scanning his surroundings. Spotting the setting sun in the distance, he moved in a flash, using the Body Flicker Technique to reach a cliff on the eastern side of Moonlight Island in an instant.

Sitting on the edge with his legs dangling, he faced west, gazing at the golden sea under the sunset. His mind went blank.

For that moment, he didn't think about anything. He just sat there, motionless, taking in the beauty before him.

Time slipped away.

Before he knew it, the sun had set, and the night sky unfurled above.

Whoosh~

A wave crashed against the rocks below, snapping Seimei out of his trance.

He glanced at where the sun had disappeared, then up at the starry sky, shaking his head slightly.

Standing up, he stretched deeply.

That brief rest had recharged him, easing some of the fatigue built up from days of intense training.

Though Seimei didn't expect any fighting tonight, he always made a point to adjust his condition before retrieving his wooden clones. After all, even a lion uses its full strength to catch a rabbit—he wasn't about to get careless and trip up.

Now, with his condition optimized and the timing just right, it was time to move.

Without hesitation, Seimei activated Wind Release: Wings of Wind, cloaked himself in a Chakra Mantle, and used Earth Release: Ultra-Lightweight Rock Technique.

Once airborne, he activated his Byakugan, using gravity to guide his movements.

A streak of light cut across the sky, vanishing from sight in the blink of an eye.

With speed unimaginable to most, Seimei flew straight into the Land of Water.

This time, he didn't even bother taking a detour. Under the cover of night, he soared directly from the border to the skies above the Hidden Mist Village.

Without using his Byakugan to spy, he simply scanned the village with his naked eyes, confirming no major changes had occurred. Then, he landed, activated Heaven's Aegis, and slipped into the village.

With a quick Flying Thunder God Technique, he teleported to his wooden clone's side.

"You're here," the wooden clone said first.

Seimei nodded.

Getting straight to the point, he asked, "Anything happening in the Hidden Mist lately?"

"Nothing," the clone replied, shaking its head.

"What about Obito Uchiha?" Seimei pressed.

That's right—his main reason for coming to the Hidden Mist first was to track Obito Uchiha's movements.

Based on his memories from his past life, Obito should have already made a move on Yagura Karatachi by now. But whether it was because Obito had noticed something or due to a butterfly effect, things were different.

Over the past few months, his wooden clone hadn't detected any signs of Yagura being controlled. Not just him—none of the notable ninjas in the Hidden Mist showed any signs of manipulation.

This piqued Seimei's curiosity about Obito's whereabouts.

Unfortunately, the wooden clone shook its head again. "Everything's normal."

Seeing this, Seimei didn't waste words. He dispelled the Wooden Clone Technique and began sifting through its memories.

Unlike the temporary shadow clones he used for training, these wooden clones, stationed in other villages for espionage, were only updated every month and a half. Even though they stayed dormant most of the time and operated solo, their routine intelligence-gathering generated a massive amount of memories.

As a result, it took Seimei a while to process them.
