Seimei shook off his wandering thoughts and refocused.

Right now, he'd only tested the limits of his body's endurance. He still hadn't figured out how long it would take for his next transformation.

No time to waste here.

But to accurately estimate the time needed for his next bodily evolution, he'd need to train for a while. Rushing wouldn't help.

So, for now, he decided to stick to his plan and move on to the next phase of his training.

With that in mind, he locked onto a Flying Thunder God seal he'd placed in the dense forests of the northeastern Fire Country. With a single thought, he activated the Flying Thunder God Technique and teleported instantly.

His vision shifted in a flash.

In the blink of an eye, Seimei arrived at his destination.

Surrounded by the familiar forest, he didn't hesitate. He immediately performed the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique.

Poof! Poof! Poof!

With bursts of chakra smoke, three hundred shadow clones appeared in the clearing.

Seimei glanced at them, and without needing any orders, the clones scattered into the forest to continue absorbing natural energy.

It was worth noting that, even now, the natural energy gathered by these three hundred clones was enough to meet his daily needs for physical enhancement. At most, he'd occasionally tap into the thirty million points of natural energy stored in the seal in his abdomen to cover any shortages.

But two months from now, when he started enhancing his body around the clock, three hundred clones might not cut it anymore. He'd probably need to create more to gather enough natural energy to keep up.

That was a problem for later, though.

For now, this would do.

With a soft hum, Seimei turned his attention away from the clones.

He then drew chakra from the interdimensional space in his forehead to replenish his reserves. Once his chakra was topped off, he used the Multiple Shadow Clone Technique again.

Poof! Poof! Poof!

This time, ninety shadow clones appeared.

Seimei gave them a nod, and they split into smaller groups to practice fusing the seven different chakra nature transformations.

With that done, he sat cross-legged and began performing the Mind's Eye Technique to stimulate the evolution of his Sharingan.

This was the new training he'd mentioned.

Time ticked by.

Waves of special chakra, spurred by the Mind's Eye Technique, began forming in his brain and flowing into his eyes, pushing his Sharingan toward further evolution.

The process was slow, but since he could see his progress on the proficiency panel, it didn't feel tedious. On the contrary, it gave him a sense of accomplishment.

Six hours passed in a flash.

By midnight, Seimei finally stopped training.

After absorbing and processing the final batch of training experiences and memories from his shadow clones, he used the Flying Thunder God Technique to return to Moon Island.

Back at the wooden cabin, he washed up briefly and settled in to rest.

The night passed quietly.

The next morning, he was up early, diving back into his training.

And so, day after day went by.

In the blink of an eye, a week had passed.

After a week of training, Seimei finally calculated how long it would take for his next bodily transformation.

Just like last time, it was a month longer than before—nine months total.

And that was with the significant boost in efficiency for enhancing his body.

Without that, it would've taken at least a year to reach the next transformation.

This just went to show how tough it was to break past his limits.

It also confirmed his theory: the higher his base attributes got, the harder it was to improve them.

But he couldn't let this timeline keep stretching out. If it kept going like this, would he eventually need one or two years just to gain a single point in his base stats?

No way Seimei was okay with that.

Still, he wasn't too stressed about it.

The reason the timeline kept getting longer was simple: the efficiency of his body enhancement wasn't keeping up with the increasing difficulty of each transformation.

Once he could drastically improve that efficiency, the time would naturally shorten.

Seimei figured that when his "Physique" stat hit 40—two points higher than now—and triggered another qualitative leap, he'd get there.

So, he wasn't in a rush.

Plus, the nine-month estimate was just preliminary.

Like his last transformation, two months from now, when his Sharingan's evolution hit its critical point (90,000/100,000), he'd pause the Mind's Eye Technique and redirect those six hours to body enhancement. That would definitely cut the timeline down significantly.

So, Seimei wasn't sweating the estimate.

Right now, his only goal was to push his Sharingan's evolution to that critical threshold as fast as possible.

With that mindset, he threw himself into his daily training.

Every day, he was either training or on his way to train.

Other than a single day every ten days to head back to the village for a break, he barely stopped.

Even village missions were handled by his wood clones. With his current strength, a single wood clone could easily handle an A-rank mission.

Of course, he wasn't above taking on S-rank missions himself. Wood clones weren't quite up to those tasks, but thanks to his hidden tricks, he could usually wrap them up quickly without much delay.

This way, his training was rarely interrupted.

And so, two months later, Seimei successfully boosted his Sharingan's evolution to (89,600/100,000).

Based on past experience, the remaining 400 points could easily be filled during his ongoing body enhancement and the moment his body completed its next transformation.

So, he decisively paused the Mind's Eye Technique and shifted those six hours to body enhancement.

This move significantly ramped up the efficiency of his body enhancement.

But, as he'd predicted, enhancing his body around the clock meant his chakra reserves couldn't keep up.

Before, he only needed 61 million points of chakra per day to train at full speed. Now, that number had jumped to 90 million—a whopping 29 million more.

Even after accounting for the 3 million points saved by pausing the Mind's Eye Technique, he was still short 26 million points.

His daily chakra surplus was only 21.868 million points—not nearly enough.

So, he had to dip into his stored chakra reserves, pulling out 4.132 million points daily to cover the gap.

And that wasn't the end of it.

With 90 million points of chakra now going into body enhancement, he needed an equal amount of natural energy to fuse into Sage chakra.

As he'd feared, his three hundred shadow clones couldn't gather enough natural energy anymore.

Reluctantly, he expanded the team to four hundred clones.

That solved the natural energy problem, but it also increased his chakra consumption. After some testing, he found the daily cost rose from 700,000 points to 950,000 points—a 250,000-point increase.

This pushed his daily chakra deficit from 4.132 million to 4.382 million points.

Luckily, over the past two years, he'd stockpiled plenty of chakra. Drawing 4.382 million points daily wasn't a big deal.

Plus, every ten days, he could use his rest day in the village to stockpile more chakra.

So, he wasn't worried about running dry.

In fact, over a ten-day training cycle, he'd still come out with a chakra surplus.

Actually draining his reserves would likely only happen after his next bodily transformation, when the chakra needed for body enhancement spiked again.

As for how long that would take?

He'd need to do some more testing to find out.
