Seimei glanced at the panel in front of him.
His Sharingan's evolution progress had reached (79,999/100,000), just a single step away from breaking through the (80,000/100,000) milestone.
If he used the "Mirror Heart Technique" to stimulate its evolution, Seimei was confident he could complete that final push in just ten minutes, pushing his Sharingan to the next level.
But as his eyes shifted upward to the recently balanced "Mind" and "Body" attributes, he decided against it.
Like last time, he planned to let his mind and body meld in this balanced state overnight. He'd tackle the breakthrough tomorrow. This approach would ease the strain of any future imbalances between the two.
Of course, the late hour and the fact that he hadn't yet tested the gains from his recent "Body" attribute improvement also played a part in his decision. He needed to complete those tests before confidently moving forward with the Sharingan breakthrough.
These thoughts flashed through his mind, but Seimei pushed them aside for now.
His gaze drifted downward to his Byakugan.
Due to his deliberate suppression, the Byakugan's evolution hadn't progressed much over the past six months. It had only gained some passive progress from routine body training and a small boost from his recent physical transformation. Its evolution had crept from (10,315/100,000) to (10,755/100,000)—still a long way from the next milestone.
Seimei shifted his focus further down the panel.
Next were his Bloodline Limits and Bloodline Eliminations: Wood Release, Lava Release, Ice Release, Storm Release, and Dust Release. Since they were already at a level equivalent to a three-tomoe Sharingan, their evolution was painfully slow without dedicated effort. Even though he'd increased the number of shadow clones working on Bloodline Limit development and trained more frequently in the seven chakra nature transformations, progress remained sluggish.
Over six months, they'd only gained about 800 points of evolution progress, with roughly a quarter of that coming from his recent physical transformation.
Among them, Wood Release was the furthest along, sitting at about halfway. The others were stuck between 10-20% completion. For now, Seimei couldn't rely on these abilities advancing to boost his potential.
Finally, his eyes landed on the skills section.
Since he hadn't practiced any new ninjutsu lately, his skill list remained short: just "Chakra Refining Technique" and "Chakra Control."
His Chakra Refining Technique was as steady as ever, gaining 24 proficiency points daily. Over six months, it had climbed from lv8 (7,032/50,000) to lv8 (11,592/50,000). At this rate, it'd take about four and a half years to reach the next level.
Chakra Control, however, was progressing faster. Developing Bloodline Limits demanded precise chakra control, so he'd gained proficiency quickly—about 20,000 points in six months. It had gone from lv9 (51,030/100,000) to lv9 (71,550/100,000). In seven or eight months, he'd likely have enough to level it up. If he added more shadow clones to Bloodline Limit development, that timeline could shrink even further.
Seimei was genuinely excited about this.
Months of practice had deepened his understanding of fusing the seven chakra natures. The only thing holding him back was his mental strength, which hadn't improved yet. That's why he hadn't increased the number of shadow clones working on Bloodline Limits.
But tomorrow, he'd push for the Sharingan breakthrough. When that happened, his "Mind" attribute would spike, boosting his mental strength significantly. That would let him add more shadow clones to the task, making it almost certain that Chakra Control would level up ahead of schedule.
That thought filled him with anticipation.
Inhale… exhale…
Taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly, Seimei cleared his mind and shifted focus. It was time to test the other gains from his recent physical transformation.
First up: his theoretical chakra capacity.
With a thought, Seimei began fully activating his Chakra Refining Technique, tapping into his potential.
Time ticked by, second by second.
About ten minutes later, he stopped.
Sensing the changes in his body, he compared them to the panel's data on his chakra capacity. Thanks to past experience, it didn't take long to calculate the results.
His estimate? This transformation had boosted his theoretical chakra capacity by about 26 million points.
Last time, when his "Body" and "Mind" attributes balanced at 37 points, his capacity had increased by 20 million points. This confirmed his suspicion that the gap between attribute points grew larger the higher they went.
But for now, this massive potential boost didn't mean much. For one, his current potential was already vast, so he wouldn't need to worry about running out anytime soon. For another, each time his base attributes improved, he could only tap into a small fraction of the new potential, leaving most of it untapped. This caused his potential to keep piling up.
In that sense, how much potential he gained didn't matter much right now. But looking long-term, it was critical. The more potential he had, the higher his ceiling would be. It would support him in going further in the future.
That's why, even knowing it didn't have an immediate impact, Seimei tested it every time. He needed to keep track, so when the time came to care about these details, he wouldn't be in the dark.
Clearing his mind again, Seimei took another deep breath to steady himself.
Next, he tested his chakra recovery speed.
As usual, he paused the Chakra Refining Technique and quietly observed his body's natural chakra recovery while monitoring the panel's "Chakra" stat.
Ten minutes later, he stopped.
The panel showed his chakra had increased by 572,222 points.
Ten minutes equaled 572,222 points. An hour would be 3,433,332 points. Over 24 hours, that came to 82,400,000 points.
In other words, with enough energy, he could now recover 82.4 million chakra points daily.
Before this, that number was 69.4 million. This "Body" attribute boost had increased his daily chakra recovery by 13 million points—3 million more than the 10 million boost from his last attribute balance.
Clearly, this was another effect of the nonlinear growth in base attributes.
Seimei was thrilled about this.
More chakra recovery meant more chakra to use each day. Four months ago, when he'd paused the Mirror Heart Technique and reallocated those six hours to physical training, his daily chakra expenditure on body enhancement jumped from 45 million to 66 million points. That cut his daily chakra surplus from 22.618 million (21.868 + 6 - 3 - 2.25) to just 4.618 million (22.618 - 21 + 3).
That wasn't a huge surplus.
But now, with an extra 13 million points in daily recovery, his surplus had grown from 4.618 million to 17.618 million.
How could he not be excited about that?
