"Alright then!"

Seeing George take the lead, Wolverine didn't hesitate and followed right behind.

In his eyes, no one was more reliable than Principal George. Judging from George's expression, he could tell that George wouldn't have come here unless he had a way to get them out.

"Hey, Wolfie, wait up! Think about my offer again—you'd be perfect as the anchor in our world.

You'd be saving the world. You're a superhero!"

Deadpool, no longer striking ridiculous poses for the camera, hopped along behind Wolverine. But he was greeted by a massive over-the-shoulder slam.

"Wade, if you call me that again, I'll shove your head up your ass and let you see just how straight your own rectum is.

I'm happy in my own world and have no desire to go to yours.

If you want to save your world, go look for someone else in another universe."

"I just want to save those nine people… because they are my entire world..."

Thrown forward, Deadpool lay flat on the ground, gazing up at the gloomy sky and mumbling to himself.

At that moment, George happened to pass by and casually said:

"Even if you bring Logan to your world, he can't replace your version of Wolverine as the anchor. Things aren't as simple as you think.

But, if you truly want to save your family and friends, I may be able to help."

"You can see into my heart? Wait… are you the lovechild of Magneto and Professor X? That would be wild.

In your universe, is Magneto a woman? Or is Professor X?"

Deadpool rolled over, got to his feet, and sidled up to George with a face full of gossip.

George couldn't be bothered to reply. He simply raised his hand.

"Silence."

Deadpool was definitely the most notorious chatterbox in the Marvel universe. If his voice wasn't silenced, the annoyance would never end.

"Hahaha! Well done, Principal! Finally, some peace and quiet."

Seeing Deadpool suddenly mute and flailing around with exaggerated gestures, Wolverine burst into gleeful laughter.

Indeed, laughter never disappears—it merely transfers from one person to another.

"This pace is too slow. My powers have recovered a bit. I'm going to fly ahead—can you keep up?"

At the front, Human Torch noticed his energy reserves had replenished somewhat, and he could ignite again. He turned his head to ask the others.

At this current speed, they risked being caught.

He wasn't worried if it was just Cassandra's subordinates. But if Cassandra herself showed up, he'd be done for.

"No problem. Go ahead—we'll keep up."

George lifted his hand, and iron sand flowed from the ground, forming a dark cloud that lifted Logan, Deadpool, and himself into the air.

"Whoa, you've got quite the arsenal of abilities!"

Human Torch couldn't help but give George a thumbs-up.

In all the years he'd spent in the Void Realm, George was the strongest person he'd seen—aside from Cassandra.

"Flame on!"

With a loud shout, Human Torch burst into flames and shot off into the distance.

At George's mental command, the iron sand cloud followed close behind.

Half an hour later, they arrived above a vast, primeval forest.

"We're here—right down there!"

Human Torch pointed toward a stone cabin barely visible within the trees and explained to the others:

"There are only four of us left now. I went out to scavenge for supplies, but ended up running into Cassandra's hunting party."

"I thought you had more people? Only four?"

Deadpool couldn't speak, so he gestured with his hands.

Human Torch, for once, looked genuinely somber.

"The rest died at Cassandra's hands, one by one. Honestly, if it weren't for you guys today, I probably wouldn't have made it back."

But he quickly snapped back into his usual spirited self.

"That damned ****! I swear I'll *****!"

"Alright, enough of that. Let's go meet your friends first."

George waved his hand, cutting off Human Torch's stream of profanity, and descended with Wolverine and Deadpool.

They had barely touched the ground and taken a few steps when three people burst out of the cabin.

A leather-clad beauty wielding a pitchfork, a crew-cut brawler with a magic mirror, and a roguish man armed with playing cards ready to strike.

"Erika, Eric, Remy—they're not enemies, they're friends!"

Human Torch hurried to stop the trio from attacking.

Upon seeing him, the three relaxed and broke into smiles.

"Kid, you've been gone two days. We thought something had happened to you."

"Something did happen, but thankfully, they saved me."

Human Torch then briefly recounted his experience to the three.

During this time, George swept his gaze over the group, a look of confusion flickering across his face.

If memory served, the Void Realm resistance team should have had five members, not four—including a young female wolf mutant.

"Could that little wolf girl have come from my universe?"

A thought struck him, and he began to piece things together.

In the universe he had traveled from, had it not been for his unexpected appearance, Wolverine's fate would have mirrored that of the one in Deadpool's universe.

In the version where he didn't intervene, this universe's Wolverine would have died, and the little wolf girl, along with the other kids, would have gone to Canada—likely to no good end.

Maybe the girl managed to survive and grow up, only to be pulled into the Void Realm by some twist of fate.

But because of his presence, the fates of Wolverine and the girl were altered. As a result, she never entered the Void Realm and continued her schooling in her own universe.

Judging by the age of the wolf girl in the movie, and the one in his universe, the timelines lined up quite well.

It was precisely because this universe's Wolverine was still alive that Deadpool, in his search, ended up traveling to an alternate universe.

Still, the anchor in their current universe probably wasn't Wolverine—it was likely Doctor Strange.

After all, in the natural course of this universe, everyone else had died—only Doctor Strange remained.

"Welcome aboard. From now on, let's work together to fight Cassandra and find a way back to our own universes!"

After hearing Human Torch's story, the trio sheathed their weapons and warmly welcomed George, Wolverine, and Deadpool.

George, wasting no time, got straight to the point:

"If your goal is to return to your original universes, I may have a way."

"You do?"

The three fighters, Human Torch, and even Deadpool—still unable to speak—lit up with excitement.

Since they couldn't use another universe's Wolverine as a replacement anchor, Deadpool was in a hurry to return and stop the Paradox from using the Chrono-Crusher to obliterate his universe.

Only Wolverine remained calm, trusting that George had a solution if he'd come this far.

The Principal never fought battles he wasn't sure he could win.

"Yes. If you're ready, I can send you back right now."

George shrugged. These four were simply four new universe coordinates.
