RAIN
Liam has been avoiding me.
My paranoid and insecure self thought that he was still mad at me and I didn't know how to broach the subject.
But now I have found out why and I am left speechless.
"I didn't want you to know I was preparing a surprise for you," he says as he crosses the room and pulls me in for a hug.
My shopping bags fall and I hug him back. "I was wondering if we weren't okay."
"We are. I just needed to keep you away for a while as everything got ready. That's why I asked Day to take you out shopping and get your nails done," Liam says sheepishly.
"What is the surprise?"
"I am taking you away. Since tomorrow is your birthday, I decided to do something special."
"How-" I tilt my head. "How did you know?"
"You don't have to worry about that. Was it supposed to be a secret?"
Kinda? "No."
"Great, so we are leaving tonight. If you want to take care of anything you have at least three hours before we leave for the airport."
