"You… my twin brother." Caius' eyes scanned the crowd until they locked onto Darwin.
The audience went wild. They still hadn't recovered from the battle with Vaelen, and yet Caius had already chosen his next prey. But beyond the shock and mind-bursting fight, excitement surged through everyone.
"Not bad," Jake commented, as Darius chuckled.
"Come on, if he brings down the Dreadborne Organization, I'm sure the Chains will delete him from existence, heheh," Darius joked, and Jake nodded.
"Most likely. I mean, they need the Dreadborne to remain in the spotlight. A lot of things are going on—apart from us integrating into society, there are rumors of the Forefathers returning too… not to mention that weird organization," Jake said, his tone like that of an elder speaking to a newcomer.
"How do you know so much? I wasn't informed at all," Darius said, stunned.
