On Friday, Mrs. Mason summoned Jimmy to her office, accompanied by Isabel, to announce the decision for Jimmy to return to the field office, to the same position in the Homicide Team as before.
Jimmy thanked Mrs. Mason and Isabel for their care and training over the past few months, expressing that he would not forget the experiences shared during their time working together. He then went out to the office area to share the news with everyone.
Jimmy hugged everyone goodbye, returned to his office to pack his things, and also made a call to order enough afternoon tea desserts and coffee, with milk tea sent to the Public Affairs Office to thank everyone for their companionship over this time.
Jimmy carried his box back to the Homicide Team's office where it was still just Mahong and David, just like before. In fact, the Homicide Team never had many people; at its busiest, it was just Mahong with the Black young lady Philicia and Jimmy, making a total of three people.
