Chi Yue glared at him angrily, "Could you step aside, please?"
Fu Rongyin's lips curled into a shallow smile, "I thought you wouldn't talk to me. It turns out you're avoiding suspicion."
"Don't flatter yourself. I simply don't want to speak with you, it's not about avoiding suspicion."
"So it's just me you're targeting? Even if we can't be lovers, we can't be friends either?"
Chi Yue suppressed her temper, "We've made it very clear, I don't owe you anything."
The smile faded from Fu Rongyin's lips, "I didn't agree to that."
Chi Yue's breath hitched.
On reflection, he had indeed never said a word of agreement, but for an upright person, the matter would have been settled.
Clearly, Fu Rongyin intended to renege on the deal.
As expected, his next words were, "Chi Yue, one night for one project might not be such a good trade."
Chi Yue clenched her fists, "So?"
"There are a few days left to wrap up things here. Stay with me for these days."
"In your dreams!"
