The school opens soon.
An'an packed her things a day early and went to Xu Weiran's house.
She wanted to surprise him, but she fell asleep while waiting, and Xu Weiran still hadn't returned.
Xu Weiran came back in the evening, opened the door, and found that the lights in the house were actually on.
He paused, realized something, and instinctively moved quietly, closing the door. As soon as he entered the living room, he saw An'an sleeping on the sofa.
"An'an?" Xu Weiran stepped forward and gently called out.
"Hmm, you're back?" An'an, groggy, rubbed her eyes and sat up from the sofa.
"Why aren't you sleeping in the bedroom?" Xu Weiran asked.
Half-awake, An'an replied with her eyes half-open, "I was planning to wait for you, but I accidentally fell asleep. Why are you back so late?"
"It's nothing, I just stayed a bit longer in the laboratory since there was nothing else to do. Why didn't you tell me you were coming? I was planning to pick you up tomorrow."
