"An'an, wake up!"
Sheng Ning'an woke up to find herself lying on the bed.
Standing by the bedside was Xu Weiran, looking at her with a worried expression.
"You're back?" As soon as she spoke, she realized her voice was terribly hoarse, as if it had been sandpapered.
She was stunned for a moment, then blinked and asked, "What's wrong with me?"
"You have a fever!" Xu Weiran said.
This girl always seemed so clever, yet she didn't even realize she was sick.
Sheng Ning'an raised her hand to touch her forehead, "It does feel a bit hot, no wonder I feel a bit uncomfortable."
"Be good, get up and take your medicine!" Xu Weiran helped her sit up and handed her the medicine and warm water from the bedside.
After taking the medicine, Sheng Ning'an lay back down.
Xu Weiran tucked her in and said, "I'm sorry, it's my fault for not taking good care of you."
