Amid the airport ruins, haphazardly stacked containers were swatted away by massive octopus tendrils.
Bang bang bang
The containers flew like hidden weapons. Charlie raised his hand, drawing a circle, and the incoming containers redirected, smashing into the symbiote beast's face.
The damage was minimal, but the insult… well, this thing had no shame, so insult hardly applied.
"Wasting my magic."
Blood-red tendrils behind Charlie surged hundreds of meters, whipping down. The symbiote beast, unyielding, countered with its octopus tendrils clapping through the air. Its green scorpion tail struck, reaching Charlie's face in an instant.
Thud thud thud~
The scorpion stinger jabbed fiercely. Charlie gripped the tail with both hands, the immense force pushing him back several steps, crushing the airport terminal completely.
At the same time, the symbiote beast's maw unleashed a blue arc of energy. Charlie deftly redirected the stinger into the energy stream.
BOOM!!
Zzzzt…
The arc exploded, the severed scorpion tail crashing to the ground. As Charlie flipped backward, he clasped his hands at his waist, and dazzling blue light shot forth.
Instantly, endless blue webbing surged over the symbiote beast's body. But before the webs could take hold, the black liquid on the beast's surface devoured them, giving Charlie no chance.
Crack crack~
Thud~ thud~ thud~
At that moment, light and shadow flickered at the airport's edge. A steel suit, tens of meters tall, rose from the ground. Tony, his form swollen, moved sluggishly under Earth's gravity, like a tortoise racing a rabbit. The armor creaked with squeaks at every motion.
"Oh, sh*t, buddy, it's up to you."
As Tony spoke, black liquid rapidly coated the steel suit.
With the symbiote's enhancement, Tony's movements were no longer labored.
Bang bang~
BOOM!!
Raising his hand, arm missiles unleashed a barrage, engulfing the battlefield in dense flames.
ROAR!
BOOM
Amid the spilling firelight, Symbiote Tony reached Charlie's side.
Looking up at Charlie, who towered over him, he shrugged. "You gonna make New York's handsomest mayor crane his neck to talk to you?"
Charlie glanced down. "You may have grown, but I suggest you keep your distance. Careful it doesn't eat you."
"Eat?"
Symbiote Tony shrugged. "Sorry, I think my partner's at the top of the food chain."
Before he could finish, an octopus tendril shot through the blazing firelight, locking onto his ankle.
"Oh no…"
Whooosh
Symbiote Tony was dragged by immense force. The black liquid on his armor resisted, but as the octopus tendril's suckers spread matching black liquid, the symbiote within Tony sensed a terrifying presence and retreated into his body without hesitation.
With the symbiote's power gone, the gold-red armor was powerless against the monstrous force.
"Pajama Baby, save me!!"
Symbiote Tony shouted, and a ring of magical sparks bloomed in the firelight.
Buzz~
Shwick!!
A massive portal snapped shut, slicing the symbiote beast's body in two.
The octopus tendrils lost all strength, but soon erupted with even greater pulling force.
ROAR!!
The beast's severed body, reknit by black liquid, quickly restored itself. Its gaping maw opened, ready to devour Tony and his symbiote.
Clearly, neither intense flames nor physical attacks posed any threat to it.
Before the beast could succeed, Charlie slashed through the octopus tendrils.
Symbiote Tony was saved, but he was soon entangled by surging black liquid again.
"Such a hassle."
Charlie cursed under his breath. Sparks flared from his arm device as the chaotic time machine erupted in golden light once more.
Buzz~
BOOM
A blinding flash, and the two massive figures vanished from the ruins.
"They're gone again."
Young Steve, eyeing Symbiote Tony's wrecked armor, led Natasha and the others away without hesitation.
"Stark's armor is trashed. We should take the chance to teach them a lesson," Scott said.
Young Steve shook his head. "That's pointless. We need to prepare for a bigger threat—a war we're unlikely to win."
…
Leaving Symbiote Tony's universe, the two massive figures tangled relentlessly in the time tunnel.
ROAR~
Bang bang bang
Blood-red tendrils and octopus tendrils tore at each other furiously. The regrown scorpion tail struck repeatedly, but Charlie dodged each one.
The colorful scenery around them sped by. Charlie braced both hands against the beast's gaping maw, his body's magical energy bursting to block the black liquid's invasion.
"Big guy, I messed up. Can we call a truce?"
Gagaga, Spider-Man, you're done for this time.
In the symbiote beast's massive pupils, the faces of Doctor Octopus, Norman, and others flickered. Its voice was a chilling blend of their tones.
The eerie sight sent a shiver through Charlie.
The next moment, the symbiote beast locked onto him, crashing through the colorful tunnel.
Crack crack~
BOOM~~
On a city coast, Lizard Parker, sunbathing on the beach, sensed something.
He stood, removing his sunglasses, and looked up at a massive portal in the sky.
"What's that?"
His puzzled gaze turned to joy, then instantly to terror.
"It's that loser sh*t! That damn guy's gotten so big! My goddess is happy again—no, I'm gonna die!!"
BOOM!!
Lizard Parker's scream was drowned by a massive crash. The colossal entities slammed into the beach, their terrifying force tearing the coastline apart, shaking nearby city skyscrapers.
"That's…"
Atop a high-rise, Gwen, preparing to attend a cosplay event as Spider-Woman, nearly dropped her jaw at the sight.
"Oh no, Peter's still there!"
As she reacted, a golden flash reappeared, and the two giants vanished.
Only a pit of mud in the ground proved it wasn't an illusion.
Soon, Gwen arrived at the scene, deftly handling Lizard Parker's remains.
…
Jurassic Universe.
"Move it! The best driver's gonna be late!!"
In a primeval jungle, among towering bone structures, a red-and-blue Tyrannosaurus Rex sped through narrow paths, sparks and lightning trailing. The duck-billed dinosaur on its back grumbled incessantly.
"Driver, you've got three minutes. If you don't get me there, you're not getting paid."
Hearing this, T-Rex Peter's eyes widened.
"No, I'll step on it, full speed!!"
Crack crack crack~~
T-Rex Peter roared, his legs scraping the ground as he executed a perfect drift past a pack of velociraptors, then leaped off a withered wood bridge.
"What~ are~ you~ doing~"
The duck-billed dinosaur's mouth gaped, eyes filled with terror.
BOOM!!
T-Rex Peter landed perfectly. "Shortcut."
"Damn driver, I'm filing a complaint!!"
As the duck-billed dinosaur roared, a golden flash flooded the forest ahead.
Buzz~
BOOM!!
A terrifying creature crashed down, the shockwave sending splintered wood flying.
Bang~
T-Rex Peter ducked low, dodging the violent shockwave.
Soon, as the shockwave faded, T-Rex Peter felt something missing from his back.
He knew the guy had been blown away.
"Haha, great, no complaints now—oh no, he didn't pay!!"
T-Rex Peter's eyes filled with panic, his tiny arms scratching his chin helplessly.
The next moment, the forest was overshadowed by massive silhouettes as two familiar figures appeared in the primeval jungle.
"Spider-Man… two of them!"
T-Rex Peter instinctively backed away. "How'd that guy get here? Is he still after me, the ultimate driver?"
"No, this is too terrifying."
He turned to flee, glancing back at the two giants.
Gagaga, Spider-Man, I am too.
The symbiote beast, disguised with chameleon genes as Spider-Man, twisted its face, its mouth stretching to the back of its head while mimicking Spider-Man's signature web-shooting pose.
Charlie tilted his head, dodging the incoming webbing, and countered with a punch to its face.
Bang!!
The massive blow distorted the beast's face, leaving a huge fist imprint.
"Fun!"
The symbiote beast, unfazed, grappled with Charlie.
Charlie sighed helplessly.
Symbiote cells plus Morbius's regeneration made this thing nearly unkillable.
Coupled with the chaotic time machine's repeated universe jumps, Charlie struggled to separate the souls within it.
Any delay, and the symbiote cells would invade his body.
He needed to stabilize the time machine.
As he thought, the symbiote beast's body split into countless tissues, exploding suddenly. Caught off guard, Charlie's arm device sparked, and golden light flared again.
Buzz~
BOOM~~
In Asgard, the revived fire giant Surtur swept his flaming sword, melting Asgardian structures in its path. The ornate city erupted in surging flames as the fire giant roared, vowing to destroy Asgard entirely.
But a golden portal's appearance made him pause.
On the crumbling Rainbow Bridge, Thor led Asgard's people to retreat. Seeing the two giants fall from the portal, his face shifted.
"What's that?"
He blinked. Nearby, Loki's eyes narrowed.
"It's Spider-Man and a symbiote hybrid."
"You know them?" Thor asked, curious.
Loki shook his head. "Not personally, but I've seen them."
"Enough talk, let's move!"
"Mm."
Thor directed his people onto the ship.
In the fiery red world, the symbiote beast and Charlie felt searing pain under the intense heat.
Gagaga, interesting little guys.
Surtur loomed over the tiny symbiote beast and Charlie, his whisper echoing through Asgard and into the cosmos.
Compared to the thousand-meter-tall fire giant, Charlie and the symbiote beast were like ants.
With the Eternal Flame, Surtur's power to destroy Asgard with a gesture was beyond Charlie's reach.
The invincible Spider-Man was far from invincible.
But no matter—it was just an accident.
If you can't win, run.
Charlie slapped his wrist device, and golden light bloomed again.
Buzz~
The two figures vanished instantly, leaving a bewildered Surtur.
…
In the time tunnel, Charlie kicked away the advancing symbiote beast.
"Get lost!"
In the tunnel, Charlie formed seals with his hands. The spider totem on his chest glowed, and Spider-Man's exclusive magic constructed a dazzling array.
Time to summon the little spider!
The extra reward from the last Resurrection Match was still unused.
He'd saved this summon for a spider with different attributes.
But with the situation dire, he had no choice but to use it now.
The time machine's repair was urgent—time was running out.
Buzz~
The time tunnel erupted in radiant light as the time machine in his arm device merged into the magic array.
"Era… bah, Time Summon! Come forth, the flashiest kid in the multiverse!"
Crack crack~
The magic array condensed into a pale golden figure. A dazzling little spider climbed onto Charlie's body, its eight legs spreading across his webbed patterns, swiftly turning his red-and-blue suit pale gold.
In that moment, temporal power surged through him, and coordinates of multiversal destinations flashed in his mind.
These were the universes he'd visited.
This was the time machine's function.
If he had Kang the Conqueror's time powers, Charlie could manipulate time and space freely.
But alas, no such luck.
The ability to traverse the multiverse freely was still impressive.
Most importantly, the time spider's power, combined with Charlie's teleportation magic, could yield surprising results.
Eyeing the symbiote beast charging again, Charlie chuckled.
"Perfect. To deal with a big monster like you, I'll call her."
His eyes glowed gold, and his teleportation magic locked onto a figure in the multiverse.
Buzz~
In an instant, Charlie tackled the symbiote beast, dragging it through a temporal barrier.
…
Unknown Spider-Man Universe.
BOOM~~
Crack!
A streak of light shot down, crashing through a building and slamming into the ground.
In the street ruins, a gravely injured Spider-Man lay under the vampire noblewoman's foot, his body twitching uncontrollably.
"Hehe, little bug, give me your power!"
Rena's red lips parted as she began absorbing Spider-Man's totem force.
"Stop!"
Suddenly, rope-thick webbing laced with immense force struck. Rena frowned, dodging the sneak attack. Turning, she saw another Spider-Man flip onto a skyscraper's peak.
"For the man who risks his life to save his allies, Spider-Man!"
Takuya Yamashiro struck a dramatic pose, making Rena grimace.
"Aren't you embarrassed?" she asked.
Takuya landed, half-kneeling, head bowed, voice low.
"Someone once asked that question, but a man returned from hell can't answer it."
With that, he shot webbing, swinging toward Rena, aiming a flying kick at her head.
"Hah! Interesting Spider-Man."
Rena sneered, but before she could launch a fierce counter, a golden portal opened.
"What's that?"
"My God, a golden Spider-Man!"
BOOM!!
A deafening crash shook the street as giants fell from the sky, the violent shockwave sweeping Takuya away mid-air.
"Ah~ A man undaunted by a sneak attack, Spider-Man…"
Charlie: "…"
Though he'd successfully found Four Hundred Aunties, he felt a bit out of place.
