The sound of the engines echoed loudly in the cave tunnel.
"The tremors have stopped. There haven't been any tremors for five days," said a dark-skinned man as he drove, his gaze fixed on the ascending path of the tunnel.
Silence returned to the car. It wasn't just one car, there were several, but none of the three cars ascending made a sound, and everyone had a somber look on their faces. In each car there were three people, all wearing military safari-style clothing.
All were equipped with firearms and knives, but their knives were different; they resembled those of vampires. It was a sign of victory against these bloodsuckers who had invaded their home.
"Could he be telling the truth?" a soft, fearful voice came from the mouth of one of these brave soldiers.
