Valery created two buildings, one normal and the other large, perfect for the family accompanying them. Victor helped Stephen, who hadn't spoken a word the whole time, to get his family inside both buildings.
The buildings were made of ice, and when touched, there was a slight feeling of dampness, but the cold was not so intense. Valery contained the cold aura, causing the cold to shoot outward instead of inside the buildings. Valery had been trying this until now. If she had thought of it earlier, perhaps Victor would not have been so uncomfortable inside the platform at the beginning of their journey.
"Better late than never," Valery thought as her gaze shifted away from the houses and toward the horizon. Valery was calculating how far she had traveled and how far she had left to go to reach the north coast.
