The ground collapsed. Broken pieces of tree trunks fell everywhere—some even bigger than Obito himself.
Obito landed on the ground after being saved. He clenched his fists, saying nothing. His Three Tomoe Sharingan spun slowly, but didn't merge.
Sasuke noticed something off. "You've only been dodging since earlier… You haven't used Kamui at all. Did something go wrong?"
Obito didn't answer. Instead, he formed hand signs and slammed his palms on the ground.
Three coffins rose from below and opened under Sasuke's watchful eyes.
Nagato, Yahiko… and Hidan!
The moment he appeared, Hidan started cursing. "You little brat! I curse you! I'll offer you to Lord Jashin!"
Watching the scene, Sasuke clicked his tongue. "Orochimaru really is a pain."
As if he heard Sasuke, Hidan finally noticed the giant Susano'o in front of him. He tilted his head in confusion. "What's going on? Is this some kind of evil god?"
"That's the enemy," Obito finally spoke.
Hidan instinctively turned to Obito. Seeing the familiar Akatsuki cloak, he froze for a second. "You're... Tobi?"
"That's right," Obito nodded. "Things are a bit messy right now. I need your help to deal with the enemy. These two are going to help you."
Next to him, Nagato and Yahiko stood still, staring ahead with blank eyes.
"Hmph." Hidan gave a small snort, but grinned in his usual over-the-top way. "I don't really get what's going on, but offering sacrifices to the evil god is my favorite thing. Thanks, Tobi. By the way, where's my weapon?"
He held his hand out to Obito.
Obito shook his head. "Your weapon was hidden by the Hidden Leaf. I don't know where it is."
"Use this for now." He handed Hidan a black iron rod.
"Tch." Hidan wasn't happy, but he still took it. "Where's Kisame? Wasn't he with me?"
"His body was completely destroyed by Naruto. There wasn't even a drop of blood left, so he couldn't be brought back." Obito actually would've liked to revive Kisame too, but that guy's body was wiped out so badly by Naruto that there was nothing left. Even Edo Tensei couldn't bring him back.
"Troublesome!" Hidan cursed, then stopped paying attention to Obito and charged at Susano'o with his weapon.
Looked like a brute… actually, he *was* a brute.
Obito didn't care. That wasn't his goal anyway.
Right after Hidan charged in, Yahiko followed him.
Nagato, though, stayed in place. Obito looked at him, then formed a hand seal to take full control. As the seals were completed, Nagato's Rinnegan started to glow slightly.
Sasuke looked down at the two figures, small as ants. He almost swung his sword to cut them down, but at that moment, the seal he'd left in the Gedo Statue was activated. Another wave of eye power, just as strong as the Rinnegan, surged into the statue, combining with Madara and Obito's power, fighting against Sasuke's mark.
"Is that Nagato's power?" Sasuke quickly realized what was happening. He glanced at Nagato standing next to Obito, and his expression darkened.
It wasn't that it looked hard to deal with—he just felt humiliated.
Think about it — how many times had Obito made him fail already? If Obito took control again, where would Sasuke's pride go? As someone at Six Paths level, messing up twice against Obito was already his limit. A third time was unacceptable!
Sasuke ignored Hidan completely. The mark on his shoulder spread quickly, and powerful energy once again appeared in his eyes. His red Sharingan spun rapidly, then changed into the blue pattern of the Rinnegan.
His eye power surged again. The tug-of-war began once more.
On the other side, Madara and Hashirama looked at each other — both with the kind of seriousness that only people who knew each other too well could share.
Suddenly, Madara squinted. He could feel his eye power getting pushed back.
Hashirama caught that split-second distraction and slammed his hands together. "Sage Art: Wood Style — Wood Dragon Jutsu!"
A huge wooden dragon burst from the ground. Its massive body, strong enough to wrap around tailed beasts, twisted and launched itself toward Madara.
"Hmph." Madara smirked and instantly pulled back his eye power to focus on Hashirama. "Fire Style — Majestic Destroyer Flame!"
It was just a B-rank fire jutsu, but Madara made it feel like an S-rank. Flames roared from his mouth and formed a massive wall of fire in front of him. His fire jutsu hit with the force of water-style attacks — only much more powerful.
Normal Fire Release wouldn't work against Hashirama's Wood Style—but the man in front of him wasn't just anyone. He was Uchiha Madara. Fire Release was the Uchiha clan's specialty, and Madara had pushed it to its peak.
Flames covered the wooden dragon. As Madara poured more chakra into it, the dragon let out a loud roar, and in the blink of an eye, it was completely burned away.
Madara stopped his jutsu. A sea of fire burned before him, and the smoldering wooden dragon crashed to the ground, kicking up smoke and ash. "That's more like it, Hashirama. Let's finish what we started."
"Hashirama!"
Across the flames, Hashirama stood with the firelight reflecting in his eyes. He took a deep breath, the Sage Mode markings on his face trembling slightly.
"No matter what, I won't let you keep making the same mistakes."
"I'll stop you—no matter what!"
"Madara!"
Both of them formed hand signs at the same time, and a huge wave of chakra shot into the sky.
"Sage Art: Wood Style: Wood Golem Jutsu!"
"Susano'o!"
Boom—
The Wood Golem and Susano'o clashed. Cracks spread out under their massive feet as they unleashed their full power without holding back.
This fight—
They had both waited a long time for it.
Far away, just as Madara withdrew his visual powers, Obito suddenly let out a muffled grunt. Before he could react, Sasuke's eye power overwhelmed both him and Nagato. With the added boost from the Karma mark and Six Paths chakra, Sasuke's power was far beyond what Obito had imagined. Once Madara let go, they were completely unable to stop Sasuke.
Sasuke noticed it too. He smiled faintly, saying nothing, but the light in his eyes grew stronger.
Dammit… Obito took two shaky steps back, like someone had shoved him. He looked up at Sasuke inside the Susano'o, clenching his fists tight.
"You lost." As Sasuke said that, the Gedo Statue, which had been standing still the whole time, slowly rose and walked over to the purple Susano'o, standing beside it as Obito's face darkened.
The Susano'o was pulling chakra from the statue—but luckily, Sasuke had plenty of chakra. Even Obito, who had Hashirama cells, could keep the statue running, so there was no reason Sasuke couldn't.
Looking at the twisted figure of the Gedo Statue, Sasuke couldn't help but laugh. "Obito, this time… you're really finished."
The statue was taken. Uchiha Madara was being held back. Sasuke, in his Karma state, had locked onto him. Hidan couldn't even scratch Susano'o's defense no matter how hard he tried. At that moment, Obito couldn't see any chance of winning.
As he thought about that, he lifted his head. His Three-Tomoe Sharingan was still slowly spinning. "You think… that's really how this ends?"
Sasuke's eyes widened suddenly. At the same time, a huge burst of power exploded in the distance. Everyone froze and turned toward it.
On the other side of the ninja world, Kurama had unleashed his most powerful attack. The chakra beam dropped from the sky and hit the ground. The blast was so strong that even those in the Land of Fire could see it from far away.
That was… a beam of light!
"Wood Style: Ranking Wall Jutsu!" Taking advantage of the moment everyone turned to look, Obito quickly formed hand signs. Giant demon-faced wooden walls rose from both sides, wrapping around him for protection.
Sasuke's face darkened. "You really think that trick will work again?"
"Six Paths Sage Art: Heavenly Void Violet Orb: Jade Box!"
