First person POV – Liam
Back on the cruise ship, as expected, I wasn't allowed to pick up a pet from the beach and bring it on board.
For a moment, I thought I would have to part with the little cat I had rescued. The idea tightened my chest, not after everything she had been through at sea.
But, luckily, one of Lee Hua's employees recognized me and decided to make an exception. Thanks to that, I was allowed to keep the small feline with me.
Not long after, the ship departed, leaving that beach behind and heading straight back to my home. There would be no more stops. The rest of the trip would be just the sea and us.
With some free time during the return, I took the chance to relax. I chatted, played, and slept with Harper, Alice, and Vanessa.
