Kadoc was in the Chaldea kitchen, sipping his morning coffee—carefully, as he had learned from experience that anything made by Kukulkan was a gamble. Her cooking was... unpredictable. Sometimes it was just food, other times it came to life and started attacking them, like a scene from some nightmare.
As he took another cautious sip, he glanced toward the corner of the room. He blinked in surprise as Olga appeared, walking straight through the wall as if it was just another part of the environment. Kadoc nearly choked on his coffee at the sight. For a moment, he forgot that Olga wasn't like the rest of them. She wasn't a living being anymore; she was a ghost.
Kadoc rubbed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to regain his composure. He had seen it countless times before, but it always caught him off guard. The way she moved, the way she didn't have to follow the rules of the living world, was... unsettling.
Olga, sensing his gaze, glanced over at him with a smirk. "I see you're still surprised by that. It's been how long now?"
Kadoc shook his head. "I'll never get used to it. It's just... weird."
She chuckled softly. "Weird? I'd say it's a gift. You can't even feel the walls. No doors to open, no barriers to hold me back."
"Yeah," Kadoc muttered, still a little uneasy. "But it's still freaky to watch someone just walk through a wall like it's nothing."
Olga shrugged nonchalantly. "The perks of being dead, I guess."
Kadoc finished his coffee, clearly still processing the surreal nature of the situation. "Anyway, what brings you here? Looking for something, or just taking a stroll through the walls?"
"I'm just here to see if Ritsuka has any new plans," Olga said, drifting casually to a nearby table. "He's always up to something interesting. You know, messing with timelines, taking down threats before they even happen..."
Kadoc raised an eyebrow. "Isn't that a bit... dangerous? To just take out problems before they even become one?"
Olga shrugged again. "Ritsuka's a bit different, isn't he? When it comes to this kind of thing, he doesn't really care about what's 'supposed' to happen. He just does what feels right."
"Yeah," Kadoc agreed, "but sometimes it feels like we're all just along for the ride, waiting to see what happens next. It's... unsettling."
Kadoc then looked at Olga. "So how is your Chakra training going".
Olga made a particular hand sigh. "Yes, why don't show you".
Kadoc raised an eyebrow, both curious and wary. "Wait, you're really getting into the whole chakra thing, huh? I thought that was just a passing interest."
Olga smirked, crossing her arms. "Well, it's not every day a ghost like me gets a chance to learn something this… physical. Might as well make the most of it."
With a focused expression, Olga made a few quick hand signs. "Multi Shadow Clone Technique!" she called out, mimicking the moves she'd been studying. Suddenly, with a burst of energy, identical copies of her appeared around the room, each one looking just as smug as the original.
Kadoc's eyes widened. "Uh… okay, that's actually impressive."
The Olga clones glanced around, assessing the space and nodding approvingly at each other. "See, the ghost thing has its perks. No physical limits, no energy drain… I can keep this up all day," the original Olga said with a grin.
Kadoc chuckled nervously, realising the potential chaos this could unleash. "Just… maybe don't make a habit of it in the middle of the base. Ritsuka's already got enough to deal with."
The clones all nodded in unison, and one of them stepped forward, mirroring the original's smirk. "Don't worry, Kadoc. We'll only use it when it's 'strictly necessary'… or for pranks."
Kadoc sighed, already imagining the pranks and tricks she'd come up with. "Great… just what we need. An army of ghostly pranksters with chakra powers."
With a casual snap of her fingers, the clones disappeared, leaving only the original Olga, who winked before phasing through the wall again. Kadoc shook his head, wondering what kind of training she'd pick up next—and hoping he'd be able to survive whatever ghostly powers she mastered in the meantime.
Meanwhile in the cafeteria, a black door openas Ritsuka walked out, Scaring half of the people Ritsuka just looked at them before he goes to grab a coffee before he drinked or came to life wen insult him before going back to normal, this was normal to Ritsuka, after becoming a dragon god and traveling across the multiverse he has seen some weird stups.
Ritsuka them saw Kukulkan it was clear she was the one who made this coffee. "Kuku, I love and everything but stop using what evene beens you are using, and don't give Ereshkigal cooking also comes to life that is a whole different story".
Kukulkan looked up from her seat, her serpentine eyes glinting mischievously. "Oh, Ritsuka, you're no fun," she said with a playful smile, a hint of amusement in her tone. "I thought you'd appreciate a little spice in your life." She gave a small wave of her hand, causing a faint shimmer of energy to ripple through the air.
Ritsuka held up his coffee mug, which had started to grow legs, seemingly offended by his initial skepticism. He sighed, watching as the coffee mug marched itself over to a nearby table, clearly not impressed by his remark. "You see, this is exactly what I mean. The coffee comes to life. I just wanted something to wake me up, not an existential crisis in a cup."
Kukulkan laughed, leaning back in her chair. "It's just a little magic! They don't mean any harm. In fact, I think that coffee was offended by the lack of enthusiasm in your voice. It's been trying to get on your level."
Ritsuka shook his head, running a hand through his hair. "I'm sure it has, but I don't think I'm ready for a coffee revolt. You know, the last time I let you cook something, it turned into a small army of sentient pancakes. I can't have that again."
Across the room, Ereshkigal, who was happily stirring a massive pot of stew, called out to him. "Ritsuka, the food's done! Just a little taste. I promise this batch won't attack you. Maybe."
Ritsuka turned to look at her, and his face fell. "Ereshkigal, no offense, but you do know your cooking comes to life, right? I can't have sentient food running around—again."
Ereshkigal grinned, her hands on her hips. "I can't help it if my cooking is that good, Ritsuka. I'm just trying to share the love… and maybe a few chaotic meals along the way."
Ritsuka sighed deeply, his shoulders slumping. "This is my life now, isn't it? Dragons, gods, time travel, and now living food. But hey, it could be worse. At least I've gotten used to the insanity."
Kukulkan raised an eyebrow. "You say that now, but I'll bet when the sentient soup starts walking around, you'll change your tune."
Ritsuka paused, looking at the coffee mug now sitting calmly on the counter, as if waiting for his next move. "If it starts walking, I'll start charging it rent," he muttered, taking a careful sip. To his relief, it stayed quiet.
"I've seen weirder things, honestly. Like that time I met a sentient galaxy who wanted to debate philosophy with me," Ritsuka added with a dry smile. "But if this coffee starts thinking, I'll know I've officially lost my mind."
Ritsuka looked around. "Where is Olga".
As then the door opens, as Mash walked in she had just woken up, but then in high speed Ritsuka was Infront of her new pinned her to the wall.
Ritsuka gave her a toothy grin, as his dragon teeth were shown. "Hey girly had a nice dream"
Will Mash just felt like her legs became jelly, as felt to the floor her face red, as she was panting.
Mash blinked rapidly, still trying to catch her breath after the sudden display of speed and strength from Ritsuka. Her heart was racing, and her face was flushed a deep shade of red as she found herself caught off guard by his playful yet overwhelming gesture. She had barely registered his movement before he was standing in front of her, his toothy grin showing off the sharp dragon teeth that seemed to gleam with mischief.
Ritsuka, on the other hand, stood there grinning widely, his posture relaxed, though his eyes gleamed with amusement as he stared down at her. "Did you have a good dream, Mash?" he asked, voice low and teasing, as if enjoying every moment of her reaction.
Mash was still recovering from the shock, her legs weak and her face now burning with embarrassment. She couldn't find the words to respond, and instead, she could only manage to shake her head as she quickly tried to get to her feet. Her body betrayed her, her muscles still feeling like jelly from the sudden surprise.
Ereshkigal, observing the scene with a raised brow, crossed her arms and leaned against the wall. "Ritsuka, you really do put in all the effort to add her to your harem, huh?" she commented with a mix of amusement and mild exasperation. Her eyes twinkled, clearly not fazed by the antics in front of her. She was no stranger to Ritsuka's eccentric ways.
Ritsuka shrugged with a grin, turning his attention back to Ereshkigal. "When a dragon wants something, a dragon gets it," he said matter-of-factly, his tone teasing yet confident. There was a certain intensity to his words, like an unspoken promise that made Mash feel even more flustered.
Kukulkan, who had been watching from the sidelines with a knowing smile, let out a soft chuckle. "I can confirm that," she chimed in, a slight grin tugging at her lips. "Even if I'm a winged serpent, I'm still a dragon at heart." Her voice held an amused warmth, as if she found the whole situation a little too familiar.
Ritsuka gave her a playful wink, then turned back to Mash, who was now sitting on the floor, trying to compose herself. "I promise I'm not gonna bite, unless you want me to," he teased, his tone now light and full of mischief.
Mash finally managed to steady herself, her face still beet-red, though now she was trying to hide it behind her hands. "I… I'm not… I mean, I'm not ready for that!" she stammered, still flustered but managing a nervous laugh. "You really scared me, Ritsuka!"
Ritsuka just laughed, stepping back and giving her some space, though his grin remained. "Just making sure you're awake, Mash," he said lightly, not one to let a moment go to waste. "But don't worry, you can take your time."
Ereshkigal shook her head with an amused smile. "You really know how to make an entrance, don't you?"
Kukulkan raised an eyebrow playfully. "And he's not even trying to hide it anymore."
Mash, still a little dazed, sighed deeply and tried to gather her composure. "I swear, you make everything so complicated, Ritsuka," she mumbled, though a small smile tugged at the corner of her lips despite her embarrassment.
Dr. Romani, now completely resigned to the absurdity that was Ritsuka's presence, took another sip of the coffee Kukulkan had prepared. As usual, it was alive—literally. The coffee squirmed in his cup like a living creature, sending subtle insults his way with each sip, but he no longer reacted. He had grown numb to the strange, chaotic energy that surrounded Ritsuka and his antics. At this point, it was simply part of the daily routine.
He stared at Ritsuka with an almost deadpan expression as the group continued their banter, Mash still trying to recover from Ritsuka's sudden surprise attack. Dr. Romani sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Ritsuka," he began, his voice tinged with a hint of exhaustion, "I'm starting to wonder if you're a magnet for chaos." He glanced at Ritsuka with a raised brow, clearly not expecting a response, but knew full well that he'd get one.
Ritsuka, who had been happily interacting with Mash, paused for a moment and turned to look at Dr. Romani with a mischievous grin. "Oh, you noticed?" he said, his tone playful. "I was going to say it's just part of my charm—being the Light Dragon God of Chaos and Death, you know?" His grin widened, and he made an exaggerated bow, clearly enjoying teasing Romani even more.
Romani immediately pinched the bridge of his nose, the weight of dealing with Ritsuka's antics too much to bear. "Please," he groaned, "Don't bring up that title again. I've heard it a thousand times at this point. At this rate, I'm starting to think it's part of your branding."
Ritsuka just chuckled, completely unphased by the doctor's growing frustration. "What can I say? Chaos is my thing. I'm just doing my job." He gave a nonchalant shrug, clearly proud of his "brand."
Mash, still a bit red-faced but now standing again, looked at Dr. Romani with an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry for causing you more trouble, Dr. Romani," she said softly, trying to break the awkward tension. "Ritsuka's just... well, he's Ritsuka."
Dr. Romani gave her a tired smile, though it lacked any real annoyance. "It's fine, Mash," he replied, his voice softening. "At this point, I've just accepted that nothing can ever be normal when he's around."
Kukulkan, who had been watching the entire scene with mild amusement, finally decided to chime in. "You're not wrong, Romani. But you've gotta admit, life would be boring without him around." She shrugged, seemingly unbothered by the chaotic atmosphere. "It's not every day you get to deal with a literal Light Dragon God."
Romani sighed again, taking another sip of the living coffee. "I think I'm going to need a lot more coffee to survive this."
At this point, Ritsuka's attention shifted to Olga, who had finally managed to get her chakra training under control, but was still having her own chaotic moments with the clones. Ritsuka's grin returned, and he walked over to her, ready for whatever chaos was about to unfold next.
Romani merely watched him go with a weary gaze, silently contemplating how much more of this he could handle before his brain melted into oblivion.
