Chapter 11 - Orleans

As Kadoc and Mash rayshift to there first Singularty, they looked around as Fou came out of Mash Shield as the small anime just landed as Kadoc picked him up as they did, they saw portal and walking out of Ritsuka and Shalltear.

Kadoc just looked at Ritsuka. "So let me get this correct, unlike us who have to rayshift to come this singular you can just created a portal, not just that this is your real body and not like us which this is a spirt body for the rayshift, even do if we die we will die, how many more broken abilities do you have".

Ritsuka smirked as he stepped out of the portal alongside Shalltear, taking in the surroundings of the Orleans Singularity. He let out a small chuckle at Kadoc's exasperated tone, clearly amused by his friend's reaction.

"Well, Kadoc," Ritsuka began, "it's not about being broken—it's about being prepared. I've been through a lot, so having these abilities helps me stay ahead of whatever's thrown at us. But to answer your question, yes, this is my real body, and I can create portals to bypass the rayshift. As for how many abilities I have… let's just say it's a long list."

Shalltear chimed in, her voice playful yet tinged with pride. "Master's abilities are a testament to his strength and determination. You should be thankful he's on our side."

Mash looked at Ritsuka with a mixture of admiration and concern. "Senpai, it's amazing that you can do all this, but it also sounds like a heavy burden to bear."

Ritsuka softened at Mash's words, nodding in agreement. "It is, Mash. But it's a burden I choose to carry. I'm here to make sure we all get through this, no matter what."

Kadoc shook his head with a slight smile. "You really are something else, Ritsuka. Just don't forget the rest of us normal people down here."

Ritsuka laughed, a warm sound that contrasted with the seriousness of their situation. "I wouldn't dream of it, Kadoc. We're all in this together, after all."

Fou, still perched in Kadoc's arms, let out a cheerful cry, as if agreeing with Ritsuka's sentiment. The small creature's enthusiasm brought a lightness to the moment, reminding them all of the bond they shared.

With their spirits lifted, the group prepared to face whatever challenges awaited them in the Orleans Singularity, knowing they had each other to rely on.

As they saw a a few french soldiers, as Mash went to talk to them as Kadoc tryed to stop her

Kadoc just looked at Mash. "Mash stop and there she goes"

Shalltear just looked at Mash. "Did this girl forget this is the time period of the 100 year war"

After Mash talked, the soldier started to attack, as she fought back and didn't heart as then she saw Ritsuka coming to her and patted her head

Ritsuka just looked at Mash. "Take this as time to learn, also your very cute like how would like to be another member of my harem, the choice is up to Mash, you kinda are also my type"

Mash blushed deeply at Ritsuka's words, momentarily stunned by the sudden compliment and the unexpected proposal. She looked up at him with wide eyes, her cheeks a soft shade of pink.

"Senpai... I-I..." Mash stammered, trying to find the right words.

Kadoc, having finally caught up, facepalmed at the situation. "Ritsuka, seriously? We're in the middle of a battlefield, and you're flirting?"

Shalltear smirked, crossing her arms as she watched the scene unfold. "Well, it's just like Master to multitask like this. But I agree with Kadoc—maybe we should focus on surviving first?"

Ritsuka chuckled, pulling his hand back from Mash's head but still offering her a reassuring smile. "Sorry, Mash. I couldn't resist. But don't worry, there's no pressure. You're already important to me, no matter what."

Mash's blush deepened, but she nodded, trying to regain her composure. "Thank you, Senpai. I... I'll think about it. But for now, let's focus on the mission."

The French soldiers, having recovered from their initial shock, started to regroup and prepare for another attack. Ritsuka turned his attention back to the battlefield, his expression shifting to one of determination.

"Alright, everyone," he said, his voice firm, "let's handle this quickly and efficiently. Mash, remember what I said—this is a chance to learn. You've got this."

With that, Ritsuka and Shalltear took up positions alongside Mash, ready to defend her and take down the soldiers if needed. Kadoc sighed but readied himself as well, knowing that despite the chaos, they all had each other's backs.

The battle continued, but with Ritsuka's leadership and the team's coordination, they quickly gained the upper hand. As the soldiers were subdued, Ritsuka couldn't help but glance at Mash again, a soft smile playing on his lips.

"We're just getting started," he thought to himself, already looking forward to what lay ahead in the Orleans Singularity.

Ritsuka then looked at Kadoc. "Also we are getting you servant, but I think we need to find a layline first".

Kadoc noded even if Mash was good, he would use a real servant. "Thank you I gess".

As they left they went to a city to get some information, as they did they saw a few groups of dragon ready to attack, Kadoc just looked at the dragon and was ready to use his mage craft

Kadoc just looked at them. "Be careful dragon are coming"

Ritsuka just looked at Kadoc. "Your wrong they are wyverns not dragons, there is a difference".

Kadoc was a bit confused. "Sorry what"

Ritsuka just looked at him. "Not all Wyvern are dragons but not all Dragons are Wyvern, don't compare me to them"

Kadoc then remeber what Ritsuka was yeah. "Right your a black dragon".

As the wyverns approached, Ritsuka stepped forward, his presence radiating an aura of calm authority. He glanced back at Kadoc with a small smirk.

"Exactly," Ritsuka said. "A true dragon's power is on a completely different level. These wyverns are just a warm-up."

Shalltear nodded in agreement, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Let's make quick work of these pests, Master. They're nothing compared to the real threats we'll face."

Mash readied her shield, standing beside Kadoc, who was still processing the distinction Ritsuka had made. "Stay close, Kadoc. We'll handle this together," she said, trying to keep the tension from rising.

The wyverns, sensing the power radiating from Ritsuka and the others, hesitated for a moment, but their instincts soon drove them forward, launching an attack. Ritsuka raised a hand, a dark, fiery energy beginning to coalesce around him.

"Watch closely," Ritsuka instructed Kadoc as he unleashed a wave of energy that engulfed the wyverns. The creatures shrieked as they were obliterated in an instant, leaving only ashes behind.

Kadoc stared in awe at the display of power, realizing just how outclassed these creatures were compared to the dragon god standing before him. "Right… definitely not on the same level," he muttered to himself.

With the immediate threat dealt with, the group continued on their way, searching for a leyline to summon Kadoc's Servant. As they moved through the city, Ritsuka kept an eye out for any signs of a suitable location.

Finally, they reached an old, abandoned church at the edge of the city. Ritsuka stopped and looked around, feeling the energy beneath the ground. "This should do," he said, turning to Kadoc. "Prepare yourself. It's time to summon your Servant."

Kadoc nodded, taking a deep breath to steady himself. "Alright, let's do this," he said, stepping forward. He knew that with Ritsuka and the others by his side, he was in good hands, but the weight of the moment still pressed on him.

As Kadoc began the summoning ritual, Ritsuka watched with a thoughtful expression. "Let's see what kind of Servant you end up with, Kadoc. This is just the beginning."

Ritsuka then looked at Kadoc. "So what servant do you want I can use some luck spells to bust you chances".

Kadoc just looked at Ritsuka. "You can just do that"

Ritsuka nodded and looked at him. "Yeah, I can do that, it just a 5th tear spell".

Kadoc just looked at him. "Ok just do it, I want Caster".

Ritsuka then looked at him. "I cast the spell luck".

As whole wave of energy hit Kadoc he felt a lot of power, as he looked at Mash shield as it was reason then can summon, as Kadoc just looked and hopes he got a good Servant

"Kadoc started to chantLet silver and steel be the essence. Let stone and the archduke of contracts be the foundation. For some reason this was takeing longer then the other. "Let (colour of the catalyst) the colour I pay tribute to / Let my great Master be the ancestor* Let rise a wall against the wind that shall fall. Let the four cardinal gates close. Let the three-forked road from the crown reaching unto the Kingdom rotate". "I hereby declare. Your body shall serve under me. My fate shall be your sword.Submit to the beckoning of the Holy Grail If you will submit to this will and this reason…Then answer! An oath shall be sworn here! I shall attain all virtues of all of Heaven.

I shall have dominion over all evils of all of Hell!".

As a light happened as they saw who it was, as standing in front of them was a beautiful girl, having long white hair and a fringe covering her icy blue eyes. She wears an ornate white gown and a white fur cape with gold designs and blue lining on. She is seen caressing a doll.

The girl looked at Kadoc before she spoke as her eyes meet, his as they was smark between them. "Servant, Anastasia. I came here in response to you summoning request. This is Viy. He's with me. Take care of us."

As the summoning light faded, Kadoc stood there, momentarily stunned by the figure before him. The air around them seemed to grow colder as the beautiful girl with long white hair and icy blue eyes made her presence known. Anastasia's gaze locked onto Kadoc, and a faint smile curled on her lips.

Kadoc, still reeling from the successful summoning, slowly nodded in response to her introduction. "Anastasia... the Grand Duchess of Russia," he muttered, almost in disbelief. He glanced at Ritsuka, who had been watching the summoning with a calm expression.

Ritsuka gave Kadoc an approving nod. "Looks like the luck spell worked better than expected. You've got yourself quite the powerful Caster, Kadoc."

Anastasia stepped forward, her movements graceful and elegant, with Viy, the eerie doll-like creature at her side, hovering close. "I hope my abilities will be to your satisfaction," she said, her voice as cold and regal as her appearance.

Kadoc finally found his voice and managed a small smile. "I'm sure they will be. It's an honour to have you as my Servant, Anastasia."

Anastasia observed him for a moment, her expression softening slightly. "The honour is mutual. Let's ensure that this journey of ours will be one of victory," she replied.

Ritsuka, sensing that the bond between Master and Servant was forming well, stepped forward. "With Anastasia by your side, Kadoc, you're well-prepared for the challenges ahead. Remember, a strong Servant-Master relationship is key to success in these battles."

Mash, who had been standing quietly, finally spoke up, her voice filled with admiration. "Anastasia seems like a perfect match for you, Kadoc. Together, you'll be able to accomplish great things."

Kadoc, feeling a newfound confidence with Anastasia at his side, nodded firmly. "We will. Thank you, Ritsuka, for the help."

Ritsuka chuckled softly. "No problem, Kadoc. Now, let's get moving. We still have a lot of work to do in Orleans."

Anastasia then looked at the group. "I should clarify I am Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanove, I am not the the Anastasia who was Ivan the Terrible wife, sorry if you were expecting her and not me"

Ritsuka looked at her. "How interesting, a servant that story is not of victory or heroic tail, instead a servant who is well know for her tragic fate and how her family died, the throne does work in my different way".

Anastasia's expression remained calm as she addressed the group, her voice carrying a touch of melancholy. "Indeed, my story is not one of grand victories or legendary heroics. My family and I met a tragic end, and our tale is one of sorrow rather than triumph. Yet, here I am, summoned as a Servant to aid in this fight."

Kadoc, who had been listening intently, looked at her with a mix of sympathy and determination. "Your story may be tragic, but that doesn't diminish your strength or importance. The fact that you're here now, fighting alongside us, proves that you have the power to change the course of history, even if it's in a different way than others."

Ritsuka nodded in agreement, his eyes thoughtful as he considered her words. "The Throne of Heroes does work in mysterious ways. It chooses individuals not just for their victories, but for the impact they had on history, the ideals they represent, and sometimes, for the tragic fates that define them. Your presence here is a testament to the strength of the human spirit, even in the face of overwhelming despair."

Anastasia smiled faintly, appreciating their understanding. "Thank you. I may not have the grand tales of heroism that others possess, but I will do everything in my power to support you all in this mission. My story may be one of tragedy, but that doesn't mean it has to end that way."

Mash, standing nearby, offered a warm smile. "We're glad to have you with us, Anastasia. Your strength and resolve will be invaluable in the battles ahead."

With their spirits lifted, the group prepared to move forward, each of them understanding that while their paths might differ, they were united in their determination to overcome the challenges before them. Anastasia's tragic past did not define her present—here and now, she was a warrior, ready to fight for a future where tragedies like hers would not be repeated.
