The library was much less crowded than usual today. It was just past six o'clock, and the place was nearly empty.
That guy, Cui Hao, had said he would work on data with him, but he was nowhere to be seen.
Xue Yang was used to it. He liked to finish all his tasks before taking a break. Cui Hao, however, was different. He preferred to stay up late, hiding under his covers in the dead of night, grinding himself to the bone.
When Chen Ying arrived at the library, Xue Yang was the only person left.
He sat upright before a laptop, his slender fingers dancing rapidly across the keyboard in a steady rhythm. Just listening to the sound was a strangely satisfying experience.
If only I could listen to him type every day, life would be wonderful.
Chen Ying slowly approached Xue Yang and stopped in front of him, holding out a large apple. She had chosen it carefully, placing it in a pretty bag tied with a beautiful bow.
