"Who the fuck are you? Knocking like that in the middle of the night, got a death wish or what?" The man inside the door glared at Chen Yang outside, tone extremely foul, opening his mouth only to curse.
Chen Yang looked at the man in front of him; he seemed to have drunk a lot and had been sleeping soundly.
Being woken up, of course his temper would be this bad.
"Heh, my bad. I was walking my dog around here, got a bit thirsty, so I thought I'd borrow a glass of water." Chen Yang didn't get annoyed, still speaking politely.
"Water? Get the hell out of here. If you dare disturb my sleep again, I'll fucking kill you, got it?" The man cursed again, and as he spoke he planned to shut the door and go back to sleep.
Just then, another voice came from inside the house.
"Heh, Third, why so hot-tempered? He just wants a glass of water, let him in then."
The voice of the man inside was much colder than that of the one who opened the door; it sounded downright chilling.
