Fang Hong diverted his attention from his system and saw the girl wrapping up a few leftover biscuits with a handkerchief, carefully putting them away. She quietly lifted her head, eyes still closed, and asked, "Mister, were you lost in thought earlier? Why haven't you spoken?"
"I was conversing with a friend," Fang Hong thought for a moment and replied.
The girl tilted her head slightly, looking puzzled, "Is there anyone else here?"
"Not exactly, I'm an Invoker. There's a special way of communication between us that allows real-time text interactions across regions," Fang Hong increasingly felt the other party was from a century ago, so he explained simply, "Have you ever heard of the Invoker?"
The girl thought silently for a moment, then shook her head.
