"Alright, alright, Grandpa wishes Nianhua to become more and more beautiful too." Du Chang smiled as he handed over the red envelope he had prepared in advance.
Xu Nian'an also followed suit and wished him a happy New Year. Du Chang handed him a red envelope and said, "Nian'an, study hard, and you'll definitely become a great doctor in the future."
Du Chang looked at Xu Nian'an with satisfaction. He placed great hopes in him—he had a good character, perfect for being a doctor,
"Master, don't worry, I will study hard." Xu Nian'an answered earnestly. When he took the red envelope, he still felt shy. He was already this old and still receiving red envelopes.
Du Chang saw right through his thoughts and said, "Just take it. You're my apprentice—it's fine for you to take the red envelope."
"Thank you, Master." Xu Nian'an happily accepted it, thinking that next time he visited his master, he should bring more delicious treats, visit more often, and study well.
