Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: UA Entrance

Without warning a simple child gained a unique and uncanny ability. Yet as people began to suspect this as a virus made by an opposing government or a chance to appeal to some unknown deity. More random occurrences took place.

Soon enough these 'occurrences' became common place and gained a title 'Quirk' these Quirks came in different forms be it physical, mental, spiritual, or even emotional.

These people soon began to get tittles for these powers for those whom wished to save others and stop corruption to spread. Hero's were their tittle.

However those whom wished to do the opposite and spread corruption and wicked fantasies upon the world were known as villains.

Soon enough these two factors became the core of society and in doing so sprouted new ways of life.

One of such changes was a school located in central Japan a small island country. There within was an academy used for not just academic purposes but to foster bright minded individuals in hopes of both training their Quirks and making them hero's.

Or to simply allow them to make sure they don't lose control within public areas. Causing unnecessary harm to citizens.

One such citizen was sleeping 'carefully' in his bed wearing blue striped pajamas. His black covers were strewn around and jumbled as his pillows were also thrown off the bed. The first pillow was casually on the floor eating up dust bunnies.

While the other seemed to be placed in a more unique spot. Situated almost directly under the hole of the door. Soon enough however a loud noise reverberated off the door seemingly supposed to be a knock turned into a recurring sound of a ram hitting against another in show of dominance.

"Time for the entrance exam! Wake up!!"

Was the warning before the ramming truly got out of hand to the point that the hinges on the locked and slightly barricaded door tore off.

Similar to a lumberjack calling down timber the voice behind the door gave a similar calling "Asshole!!!"

Finally the door conceded falling forward toppling over the two pillows revealing the room. Which was in shambles even before the door had fallen as papers of past due assignments, action figures, and posters of Hero's laid on the ground covered in noticeable dust.

Yet only one thing stood out of the messy room hanging almost directly over the sleeping boy whose hair bore a striking resemblance to both the woman in front of him and the covers knocked off his body being pure night.

The item in question was a tailored outfit styled in a business like attire used mainly for job interviews then for a causal entrance exam.

Finally through however and after hearing the familiar call the boy with equal as messy hair rose up rubbing his eyes pushing his hair out the way revealing black pupils.

His mother a woman in her late thirties swung a bag in the shape of a handle bag similar to a suitcase if not for its leather constraints and latches over its sides onto the boys face showing no care for the boys safety.

"Ow!!"

Barely insuring the pain as the metal latch met his face in the morning the boy couldn't help but exclaim in anger as he jumped out of bed in front of his mother.

"Shut it you hag!!!"

"Hag?!?"

Hearing the word seemed to only add oil onto the fire as this boys mother began to throw a punch at her son causing a brawl between both family members.

As they both fought the man of the house slowly entered his son's room finding his loved ones fighting and not fazed at all by it. Somehow the man grew accustomed to the way his family members show their love and affection through horrendous violence.

Having been the father and husband of the two fighters he has grown used to such behaviors. This man unlike his loved ones possessed a different physical trait from them as his hair and eye color were a pure emerald that radiated the color of nature in the sunlight.

"Son, you're going to miss the entrance exam if you keep fighting your mother."

The father spoke not breaking above a whisper as he already knew both could hear him through the arguing and screaming.

"What!! Oh shit!!!"

Hearing the news the boy then grabbed the bag that his mother had assaulted him followed by the coat hanger that his uniform hanged off of as well as the bag his father intended to give him which inside was a boxed lunch.

With years of practice the boy began to dress himself at a hastened pace tossing the unnecessary clothes off onto the ground as he proceeded to change into his entrance exam attire.

The boy after successfully changing waved away to his parents as he looked to his father more than his mother noticing the difference in their traits in not just the physical sense but also of the mental.

His father was a calm and calculative man while his mother was in fact quite the opposite. With her anger which could rival any tyrant making her brashness the entirety of her personality. Surprising the boy in how they both got together in the first place.

After waving away to his family the boy ran towards the train station taking a quick ride to UA high-school the school for rookie heroes being trained under by many Pro ones in hopes of becoming one someday.

'I hope I impress and meet some cool heroes!'

Excited as this was his dream of becoming a hero from a young age. He may have a slight temper, but that truly only comes out when he's either with his family or very close people he's known long enough for him to consider family.

As he was thinking of ways to use his quirk in a way to catch the attention of the pro heroes and judges throughout this year's exam a loud person had noticed his arrival at the train station.

"Shokubutsu! It's great to see you!!"

The one who spoke was a red-haired boy with spiked hair and teeth and was as loud as a megaphone. This boy was Kirishima Ejiro a friend of the black-haired boy named Shokubutsu Sanran. But most called him Sho for short.

"Kirishima Why do you have to be so Damn Loud!!"

You guessed it Kirishima was one friend Sho had known for a long time since elementary school but he was the only one he had known besides himself who wanted to go onto the hero track or at least did.

"Is that ShoSho?"

Standing beside the tall young man was a pink-skinned and pink-haired girl with white horns who walked into the train hearing both loudmouths she's come to know over the years.

""Aishido?""

Both Sho and Kirishima surprised by her sudden appearance looked to the girl they knew when they too were younger making the train ride even more calming except for how loud the train was due to two of the stations notorious loudmouths.

As the train approached their stop the trio got off and started laughing Sho was so excited he slipped off the train face planting into the ground causing Kirishima to snicker as this was nothing new to him.

Aishido on the other hand laughed her ass off angering Sho. Who began to start arguments at everything and one as he could until they reached the UA entrance gate.

Once there upon the street towards UA a young man with dark green hair similar yet not to his father also began to share in his fate yet luck had been on this characters side as he began to levitate off the ground.

Before Sho had any time to think if this was the mysterious boys Quirk a young woman to the boys right asked him "Are you alright?" Hearing the question Sho couldn't help but clench his lip as a tear fell down his face as he thought 'Why not me!!'

Sho through his grief was nearly going to belt it out as both Ashido and Kirishima stood beside him yet before he could the last warning bell telling the students to arrive at the testing area had rung giving the students at least five more minutes to arrive and that took priority over belting out emotional pain.

'I hope he trips' was all Sho could think as he ran to the course for the written entrance exam.
