The Induction: The Sacred Brahma bloodline.

CRACK!

The Stone-Fate Altar shook more violently than before. Its color shifted frantically—from black to gold, then to a bloody, ominous crimson.

Hairline fissures spread along the ancient stone like spiderwebs. Fine crumbs and dust began to fall off, dissolving into nothingness before they even hit the ground.

The artifact couldn't handle the pressure.

However, this heralded the arrival of more shocking sight.

Weng!

A Golden Wheel manifested around Lu Xie.

Then another within the first. And another within the other....

It started ghostly and ethereal, but within a heartbeat, it turned corporeal—heavy, metallic, and searingly bright. Every new wheel was accompanied by a burst of red plumes of light that tainted the gold with the color of blood.

Seven Wheels within Wheels rotated around her in disconcerting chaos. They didn't spin in unison.

With the rotation came a distant chant, echoing through the Pagoda like a ghostly whisper, the more you listened the less you did hear it...

"The Brahma God descends...

Who shall dare to battle?

Not one, nor a thousand shall measure.

The Golden Halo burns,

Washing the world in bloody flames.

Seven steps to Ascend...

Seventy thousand steps to Descend.

Chosen Monarch.

Blessing the Day... Damning the Night..."

With the completion of the chant, the center of the wheels tore open.

A Golden Eye with a vertical Crimson Pupil blazed open at the nexus of the rotation. It swept through the Pagoda with a crimson gaze that felt like it could incinerate sins and virtues alike.

But then...

A Fourth Phenomenon began manifesting.

From the tear in the void, two fish swam out—one White, one Black. They chased each other's tails in a perfect circle, faster and faster, until they suddenly fused.

ROAR!

They transformed into a Draconic Black-and-White Fish, split perfectly down the middle, embodying the balance of Yin and Yang.

Lu Xie's eyes widened through her veil. 'Too much! This is too much!...That is enough!'

She quickly tried to retrieve her hands from the Stone-Fate Altar before it exploded or summoned another "thing".

BANG!

She was too late.

With a final, mournful draconic roar, the Stone-Fate Altar surrendered. It didn't just crack; it pulverized, crumbling into a pile of fine grey dust the moment her fingers left the surface.

All four phenomena—the Void, the green Cat, the Brahma Eye, and the Yin-Yang Dragon—vanished immediately, as though they were never there.

The skies immediately brightened. The sun returned.

But the silence remained.

No one had snapped out of what had just happened. Bulging eyes focused on the empty space where the apocalypse had just played out. Even the ability of speech had temporarily left the crowd.

The hall was so silent that a ghost's whisper could be heard screaming.

Inside Lu Xie's head, the scenes replayed repeatedly. She wasn't confused; she was horrified. All four phenomena were things she was intimately familiar with.

The Chaotic Void was naturally the manifestation of her Void Physique.

The Green Cat strangely carried the essence of the Luck Wishing Weed she had absorbed.

The Draconic Carp was clearly the manifestation of the Primordial Carp's sanguine essence.

But the Golden Wheels was her true bloodline power—The Sacred Brahma.

The Sacred Brahma was the result of the fusion of her parents' bloodlines.

The Scared Bloodline and the Brahma Bloodline.

Even before her age regression, it had been too eccentric for her to fully grasp. She had spent over a thousand years training to master its powers but was hardly able to uncover a tenth of its true prowess.

After her regression, it had gone completely dormant.

Until now.

'Damn it all to hell!' she swore internally. 'How is this even possible? The Daos of this world were clearly wary of me. They suppressed my abilities since I got here. How can this happen? Unless...'

A realization struck her like lightning.

Since the incident that led to her ending up in this world, Lu Xie's Qi had been sealed, rendering her a mortal. However, over the month she had spent here, the Daos of this new world hadn't just been suppressing her.

They had been mutating her.

Lu Xie realized what had truly happened. "Energy cannot be destroyed; it can only be transferred, or change its form."

Her eyes gleamed with enlightenment. Her Qi hadn't vanished; it had changed its form to adapt to the Laws of this world. The process had been faster because the Laws here were not so different from the Nine Heavenly Realms she had come from.

She hadn't lost her power. She had just been mutating.

"Ridiculous! Impossible!"

Being the strongest individual present, the High Priestess had been the first to come back to her senses. But the shock was very real in her voice, cracking her usual facade of indifference.

Whoosh!

Space warped.

The High Priestess revealed herself from the void. Her dignified presence hit the crowd like a heavy blanket, sobering everyone instantly.

She landed with the grace of a golden butterfly. Her golden robes fluttered with no breeze, and her face remained hidden behind a silk golden gauze.

Murmurs finally erupted, filling the hall with a buzzing noise.

The Duo, Bavna and Dohli, looked as if they had swallowed a fly.

Meanwhile, the Weird Twins watched with keen interest.

Huge whispered to his brother mischievously, nudging him. "Looks like you have actual competition now."

"Worry about keeping your position as First Place before you worry about me," Yuge replied blankly, though his gaze was locked onto Lu Xie's back with a newfound sharpness.

A commotion was breaking out, and no one had the thought of stopping it.

In a few steps, the High Priestess reached Lu Xie, who was still deep in internal debate.

She reached out her pale hands, lifting Lu Xie's chin so their eyes met.

Lu Xie flinched back to reality at the sudden touch. An uneasy feeling welled up in her heart. The High Priestess's eyes, concealed beneath the gauze, seemed to see through all her secrets, her scams, and her lies.

With her gaze still trying to pierce into Lu Xie's soul, the High Priestess commanded, "What are you waiting for, Demoness Anthara? Announce the results."

Anthara, usually quick with a curse, stumbled.

"Y-Yes, Your Eminence."

Anthara replied, clearing her throat to regain her composure. She turned to look at Lu Xie, her expression a mix of awe and fear.

"This is unprecedented. You possess a Twin Innate Spirit... and Mythical Attributes to match."

She took a deep breath and projected her voice to the stunned crowd.

"You possess the Abysmal Star and the Wheeler's Eye Innate Spirits! Both are evaluated at the Honorary Pass Grade!"

Her declaration sent a shockwave through the crowd, turning the buzz into a roar.
