Mera scratched her head, her expression slightly stiff as she was swirling in thought. She understood a little of what Kain had said, especially the part about "the ability to process information in a fragmented way is already in our instincts." But why could she still not see the solution even when using that "instinct"?
Once again, as if Kain had anticipated it, he gently replied.
"Although it is true that the ability to process information in a fragmented way has always been our default, have you noticed what common feature the two examples I just mentioned have?"
Kain intentionally left a space for Mera to think, causing her to fall into deep contemplation as many thoughts raced through her mind.
