Far away on the other side, in the Manhattan Hotel, Andrew was locked in a room with Murphy, examining files.
"This person is named Tony. He had a good relationship with the young lady in elementary school, but lost contact when she transferred schools."
Andrew said calmly, "No need to mention those who are out of contact."
Murphy nodded, a glint flickering in his eyes, and the files on the table began to burn automatically.
"This woman is called Carrie, the young lady's roommate. They are very close and often together."
"Oh!"
Andrew hesitated for a moment, then hurriedly looked over.
Upon noticing the freckled, chubby girl in the photograph, Andrew shook his head, muttering to himself, "Even if... my darling daughter's taste wouldn't be this poor."
"This is Bette, the young lady's professor. She has sought his advice on several occasions."
Andrew frowned and asked, "Have they been in contact privately?"
"No. These instances were all in the classroom or office."
