"Lucian, I told you we would be coming back to the castle tomorrow morning, I need to see my mother," while the both of them argued, Eve just stared at them.
"Alright, you can go but I'm taking her with me to the castle, you can come meet her there tomorrow," Lucian said and Sabrina's eyes went wide along with Eve's.
"I'm not letting you take my daughter anywhere," Sabrina glared at him while he continued grinning,
"Your daughter? My daughter too, I have every right over her as you do," Lucian said smiling, he wouldn't let her escape him this time,
Sabrina frowned, "I am not interested in arguing with you, Lucian, I'm taking-"
Lucian suddenly squatted to his daughter height with a smile on his face while Eve just looked at him before slowly moving closer to her mother while holding onto her leg,
"Won't you thank me for saving you?" Lucian spoke calmly as she stared into the little girls eyes, his daughter.
"Ah thank you, mister, if it weren't for you I might have ended up dead in the hands of the villagers," Eve suddenly spoke with a smile on her face,
"That's good," Lucian smiled, "But I'm no stranger to you, my dear, I'm your father,"
Eve indeed heard her mother call this man her father but it's just strange, because she had always been with only her mother until she decided to take her to the surface to meet her father who might be able to help her with the fang and eyes,
"Why haven't you been with us for all these years?" Eve asked like a matured adult while Sabrina just frowned at what Lucian might be trying to do, he is still so stubborn.
"No, sweetheart, I would have been there to watch you grow into the beautiful girl you are now but your mother...." Lucian faked a pity look, which only made Sabrina's frown deepen,
"We will be leaving now, Lucian, we will-"
"I am not done talking to my daughter, Sabrina," Lucian said with a glare directed to her before turning back to his daughter, "She ran away with you and left me with a broken heart, I have missed you all these years and only long to see and be with you," which wasn't a lie,
"That must hurt..... Father," Eve said and Sabrina just rolled her eyes at how perfect Lucian is at acting, she knew he was grinning internally,
Lucian with a pitiful face, "You have no idea, my daughter," he held his chest as if in pain,
"Well we are here for you, to be with you, father," Eve exposed while Sabrina's eyes went wide and she scolded,
"Eve!"
"But it's the truth mother, isn't it?" Genevieve spoke. She does posses alot of her father's behavior.
Lucian just stood there grinning and watching Sabrina look miserable, he was going to punish her for leaving him for so long and she won't be leaving here any time soon now that she is here, he promised.
"So I will be inviting not only your mother but also her friend and of course your lovely friend, Elena," Lucian said before shifting his gaze to look at his daughter, ignoring Sabrina... For now, he grinned. "Genevieve dear, come with me, let me take you to the castle, there you will meet you half brother and grandparent and lots of other relatives, staying in the village will be so boring and dirty," he added glancing at Sabrina who didn't look happy one bit,
Eve walked slowly to the man that was her father, he was really handsome and had the same color of hair as hers and the eyes was deep red too, she saw his raised his hand for her to take which she did, Sabrina only watch how her daughter slowly smiled, maybe it won't harm to just go there now,
"In case you don't want to come with, it's fine, you can come to the castle tomorrow if you aren't happy with the terms I laid down-"
"Never! So your lovely wife can try to harm my daughter, no way Lucian," Sabrina seemed really angry,
"Alright then, come with," and he walked towards the carriage with Eve. Sabrina was hesitant but could leave Eve to go to the castle alone, so she followed them.
On arriving in the castle ground, Theodore quickly came to welcome Lucian but to his surprised saw a little girl with him, who looked so much like him and then he saw Sabrina and knew at once, he was shocked but didn't let it display on his face,
"Welcome, your highness," he said while Lucian just kept smiling, he felt so happy with the encounter of both his daughter and wife,
"Theodore, meet my daughter Genevieve," he introduced, Theodore looked at the little girl who kept staring at him as if he was strange and smiled,
"Nice to meet you, princess,"
"Nice to meet you too, sir Theodore," Eve replied with a smart smile on her face and Lucian only liked her more.
"Sabrina,"
"It's good to see you again, Theodore," Sabrina smiled at him. Lucian noticed the smile wasn't a really happy one,
"Enough! Enough, now let's go in, I'm sure my little starlight can't wait to meet everyone," Lucian said and they moved to the entrance of the mansion. Servants and guards stared wondering who the little girl was with strange coloured hair but then they saw Sabrina and was shocked too.
