"Don't worry. I'll find you today and kill you right then and there."
Finn wasn't alone, but he somehow chose to walk behind the other three people. When he muttered that sentence, he probably meant it to himself, but the three people happened to hear what he said. They stopped in their tracks before turning around, and Finn finally realized that he had caught people's attention with his statement.
"Who do you want to kill?" Clare even asked the blonde directly. "Did my father say something to you? You seem different after talking to my father privately."
They had left the Commander's residence, and it was Clare who had taken them somewhere else. Clare was actually quite upset with how his father had suddenly changed his mind and urged him to go to the White Dome, but he couldn't say anything since his father was his superior.
