After a while Raymond stood up from the chair and and sat on the bed carefully avoiding the IV drip. He then reached out and gently rubbed her head. Feeling the soft touch of her hair on his palm. He leaned forward and kissed her forehead avoiding the oxygen mask on her face.
He whispered in her ear, his warm breath spraying her ear,Anne you see the doctor said you are out of danger so try to wake up early. Because if you wake up late I will punish you.
He then held her hand that wasn't attached to the IV drip wrapping her entire small palm in his own. He spoke to himself ,his eyes filled with gentleness and happiness.

Outside the intensive care unit.
Assistant David heard that Marianne was out of danger. He contacted the willson family to tell them and also bring g food for Raymond. And rushed over with Rhett.

After speaking for a while in the intensive care unit Raymond came out to grab some air only to see Rhett and David waiting for him.
Boss , Raymond. The both stood up and greeted.
Raymond nodded slightly and sat down on the chair beside him. What's up,I hope you didn't come here empty handed you remember what I told you yesterday. He looked up at said to Assistant David with a serious face.
Assistant David nodded and said. Like you know the gun was meant for you and not for madam. But Madam saw it in time and shielded you. When you left for the hospital,of our men fired a shot and ended hitting one of them. We heard a sound and follow it only to see that's they rest had ran away and that's it was remaining the one we shot in the leg. We have taken him to the base but he is not willing to tell us anything.
After hearing what David said , Raymond's face immediately darkened. Keep him alive I will come once Marianne wakes up. Raymond said ready to go back to the intensive care unit.
Boss__ Assistance wanted to say something but unwilling.
Raymond pursed and Turned to him and said. Speak.
What he is trying to say is that you look so haggard and ugly and you have not eaten anything, so you should eat. Rhett said.
Raymond glanced at him and turned to enter the intensive care unit.
If sister in-law wakes up and sees you like this do you think she will be happy. Rhett said.
Raymond who was about to walk inside the room pursed and thought for a moment before closing the door. Prepare my clothes I am going out to eat.
Assistant David smiled and said. Sir your clothes are ready ,it is in the room Boss lady will be transferred to. And I asked Ma'am Nicole to get you food.
Raymond did not say anything and walked towards the VIP floor.

By the time Raymond cleaned up and came out. His family had already arrived.
When they saw Raymond coming out the stood and looked at him for answers.
Raymond sat down and looked at their worried faces before saying. Jackson said that's she is out of danger but will wake up in a day or two .
Only then did they breath a sigh of relief.
When will she be transferred to the room. Anthony asked.
She will be transferred soon. We should go up and wait for her. Raymond said.
They nodded and headed upstairs with Raymond.
Fifteen minutes later.
Marianne was brought in with a stretcher and the nurses and Jackson followed suit.
After placing her on the bed and making arrangements of the IV drip and monitor. Jackson walked over and started checking on her.
Everyone watched nervously.
Soon Jackson was done he turned to them and said. Well I have checked and there are no issues. I will do my best to make sure that's it does not leave any side effects. You don't have to worry she will wake up soon.
All of them breathed a sigh of relief and say down.
Jackson was about to leave but turned to Raymond and said. Come to my office.
Raymond looked at Mariann before walking out with Jackson.
