Raymond didn't say anything and turned towards tye operating room and continued staring at the door.
Grandfather willson Walked up to Raymond and said. How did this happen?.
Raymond didn't say anything and kept staring at the operating room.

Soon the lights in the operating room went out.
Raymond spine stiffened as he quickly approached.
Jackson Walks out of the operating room . How w did this happen?.
Raymond looked at him and said coldly. How is she.
Jackson sighed and said. Tye bullet hit her left back,just missing the ribcage . And the bullet was less than one centimeter away from her heart . Although the bullet has been removed,her condition is not optimistic . We have sent her to the intensive care unit sn whether she can survive , depends on tonight's situation.
Upon hearing what Jackson said . Raymond walked to him emitting a strong aura of hostility . He grabbed his coat and fiercely declared. If she dies you will be buried with her!.
Jackson did not take what he said to heart because he knew he was saying it out if impulse. He patted his shoulder and said. She is going to be fine trust me. Your love is strong. She kept mentioning your name in the operating room.
Raymond looked at Jackson and said. Can I go see her ,when she heard my voice she will surely wake up.
Jackson nodded and said. You can go but change into a sertile cloth.
Nicole walked up to Raymond and said. You can go Ray , we will stay here and wait for her to wake up.
Raymond nodded and followed Jackson to get changed.

Inside the intensive care unit.
Raymond sat down on the chair that was placed on the beside of Marianne.
He watched lying quietly on the bed.
She was still in a coma,with an IV in her hand and an oxygen mask covering her pale face. The heart monitor on the beside table , showing her weak heart beat.
He held her hand and looked at her silently . At this morning his heart felt like it had been pricked by something causing him pain.
Taking a deep breath he mummred his voice tinged with tears. Anne....
Anne ,why did you have to block the bullet for me. I should have been the person here. Why did you have to do that... You knew that there was a spinner but you still shielded me like you life didn't matter.
You know how I love you and I don't feel well seeing you like this. Anne please wake up,for my sake. For everyone's sake. If not for anything ,but for our sake.
Earlier you said that I should crate more fireworks for you spelling out how I love you. How am I going to do that when you are here.

He cried and kept his head on Marianne's hand.
Nicole and the rest watched from the window feeling heart broken.
Nicky we should go home and keep praying for Anne. Grandma willson said.

Raymond stayed in the intensive care unit all night without rest. And neither did Jackson not the hospital staffs. Whether Marianne could make it through this night depended on this one night . And even if they were allowed to rest they couldn't sleep.
Every hour Jackson will bring his team to check on her.
It wasn't until morning thay Jackson and a his team walked into the intensive care unit the second time.
Raymond stared at them feeling like time was dragging on forever.
About Half an hour Jackson finished his check up . He looked at Raymond and Sister in-law has passed the critical stage and is no longer in danger.Her condition ahs stabilized.
Raymond's heart which had been clenched finally relaxed.
He started at Mariann who was still unconscious and asked his voice hoarse. Why is she still sleeping?.
Jackson smiled lightly and said. Although she is out of danger her injuries are severe and she lost alot if blood.she may remain unconscious for a day or two but not long this. Seventy four hours .
Raymond nodded slightly at Jackson.
Jackson looked at his friends haggard expression ,in just a night he had grown beards. He patted his shoulder and and said . You should get some rest.
Raymond nodded his eyes still fixed on Marianne.
After that Jackson left with his team because he still had Many things to do.
