The first thing Raven noticed was the unsettling transformation of the ghost-like creature. Its charred lips curled into a menacing snarl, and wild, violent glimmers danced in its eyes.
Raven thought, 'Is this the effect of holy water on a monster?'
'How did it become so violent? The last time I encountered it, while it might have had the usual monster vibe, it wasn't this savage. How did holy water turn it into this?'
Monsters were widely known to be evil by nature on Earth, unlike cultists or terrorists who became that way because of conscious choices and circumstances. No, the tendencies of monsters were prevalent in them all the way to their innate biological factor. They were designed to be evil— the irony of life.
