Chapter 9 - Pathways of the Heart

As Saad's rivalry with Huzaifa grew more intense each day, another feeling was beginning to take root in his heart—his love for Alina. Despite the challenges in his business, Saad decided to make time for himself and Alina. He realized that, despite his success, his true happiness lay with her.

One evening, Saad planned a special dinner with Alina. He took her to the place where they had first met—a small rooftop café that sparkled under the moonlight above the city. The air carried a cool fragrance, and the city lights below twinkled like stars.

When Alina stepped into the café, she smiled. "Do you remember this place?" she asked, looking at him lovingly.

Saad nodded with a smile. "I could never forget this place. Your smile became a part of my life here."

During dinner, Saad and Alina reminisced about old times. They talked about their first meeting, when Saad wasn't yet wealthy. At that time, Saad only had a dream, and sharing those dreams with Alina meant everything to him. Alina had supported him back then, giving him the courage to pursue his dreams. Tonight, they were celebrating the realization of those dreams.

After dinner, Saad took Alina's hand and led her to a corner of the café where the moonlight shone directly on them. "Alina, I want to tell you something," he said softly.

Alina looked at him with her deep eyes. "What is it, Saad?"

Saad took a deep breath. "Since you came into my life, my world has changed. You've given me the courage to face every challenge. You stood by me in every moment when I was about to fall. Now, I can't imagine my life without you."

Tears welled up in Alina's eyes. "Saad, I love you so much too. Your happiness is my happiness."

In that moment, Saad reached into his pocket and took out a small velvet box. Alina's eyes widened with surprise as she saw the box. Saad gently opened it, revealing a sparkling diamond ring inside.

"Alina," Saad stepped closer, "Would you like to spend every moment of your life with me? Will you be my partner for life?"

For a moment, Alina seemed to forget to breathe. Then, with a soft smile, she placed her hand in Saad's. "Yes, Saad. I would love to spend my life with you."

Saad smiled as he slipped the ring onto Alina's finger, then pulled her close. The distance between them vanished. In the moonlit night, amidst the city's lights, their love was stepping into a new chapter.

In that moment, Saad forgot everything—Huzaifa, business, and all the world's complexities. In that moment, it was just him and Alina, and their love, which now belonged to every night, every day, and every moment.
