Headon stared at the empty floor as he thought of a particular regular that he had just sent up. A boy with black hair and blue eyes and a ring on his finger. A quite recognisable ring. With three blood red eyes, the ring was completely red in colour and is a symbol of jahad. A prince of red light district...
But that wasn't what made the boy the most interesting, no, it was the fact that the shinsu around him moved almost as if he were an irregular...The shinsu was dancing around the boy as if in joy for being in the presence of him.
Headon thought of the possibility of this boy being an irregular but dismissed it as it was impossible for anyone who isn't from outside the tower be able to break the rules of the tower, Even if they have the blood of Jahad.
"A monster has appeared..." Headon spoke as his large mouth grew even larger as he smiled.
"It has been a while since any irregular came into the tower, but with that boy now, things are going to be interesting."

I opened my eyes under the sunlight. I looked up to see the blue sky that I wasn't able to see on the first floor.
I was currently standing at what looked to be a town square with a fountain behind me. there were other regulars here as well who were in that room with me before headon transferred us all here.
I stood there without moving as I didn't know what to do. should I leave? but leave where? I don't have any home nor a place to work. I would just prefer for the next test to start but it isn't.
I didn't had to wait long though since someone stepped forward to address us.
"Hello there, Regulars! My name is Sahid, and I am one of the officials working under test administrators on this floor. Currently you are on the second floor as you all have passed the first floor test..." He kept on going but my attention was drawn to something else. Just after this guy made his appearance, A few floating windows appeared in front of me as I looked at what they were all about.

Reward: 200 Gold, One random battle spell.'

'You have gained the battle spell- Petrify!'

'Petrify:- Using this battle spell will stun the opponents, 5 meters around the user for one second. And afterwords, they will be slowed by 50% for another one second.
Cooldown: 60 sec.'

Petrify...It wasn't the most overpowered spell but it was still quite good in the sence that it could be used for combos of heroes. Most heroes use skills to deal damage and these skills have range that the enemy can get out of, effectively dodging their skill but that's where Petrify came into the picture. since it can stun the opponent for one second, the battle spell makes sure that the enemy stay in place and just where they are going to get hurt the most.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the Petrify spell in the game as I haven't used it often but I can still think of ways to use it in real life. Well, mostly if I ever found an opponent faster then me, that's where this thing gonna be the most usefull.
Other then that, I also gained two skill points. I wasn't going to use the skill points right now. I had to think more of where to put them before using them. I wasn't going to blindly do anything since the skill points are going to be harder to get as I level higher.
After sorting out ways I would use the rewards I got from the previous two windows I looked at the third window.

A hidden Quest? There was also something like that?

'Hidden Quest: Start of the Journey.
Objective: Start the climb of the tower!
Rewards: System function:- Stats check, unlocks!'

I blinked for a second as I thought-
'Stats... Check?'
As soon as I thought of thoose words another window appeared in front of me-

'Checking the Stats of the target.'

Soon that window disappeared and another popped in front of me.

I realised what the stats check was all about and smiled. I could check anyone's stats, just like it said I can. The info it provides also seems the most usefull one. with this, I would know which type of attacks would be most affective against someone. if their DEF is too high then Shinsu attacks would be more usefull and if their MDF is too high, physical attacks would be more usefull.
Not only that, I would also be able to know how much damage I should do to the target to kill it or spare it and depending on if I can deal that much damage, I can either enter the fight or not enter it. affectively dodging a losing fight by calculating the outcome of the said fight.
There weren't any other windows after that which means my rewards have ended. I sighed in disappointment but then immediately smiled again. The things I got were good, or possibly, the best things I could have asked for.
Stun was something that would have been overpowered if I was in my old world since one second was enough for a killer blow. also Stats check would allow me to know my chances of winning a fight, even before it started!
"The 2nd floor test would start in 3 days so anyone who would want to take the test, come here again at 10 in the morning! That's all! I will be seeing you soon~" I heard this part and saw the person whose name I already forgot, leave while waving at us.
The people around me also started moving as I looked at them with a dumbfounded expression.
What the hell happened? Three days from now is going to be the second floor test? what am I supposed to do until then?
"Have you finally snapped out of your trance? You sure were deep in thought."
I looked at my side to find a tall Woman with dark blue hair and black eyes looking at me. she looked to be in her thirties and had a black dress on. though her dress couldn't hold her big weapons which were spilling out.
As I was shorter then my previous self, I was just in line with her weapons and seeing them right in front of me made me flinch a little but soon calmed down and looked at her face.
She had a face of a mature woman who had been through a lot and seen a lot of things. she had a slight but polite smile as she looked at me with...somewhat affectionate eyes?
"Um....Yes?" I asked unsure of what to say or think.
"Fufu....it seems you really were not listening. Don't worry, I'll explain things for you but before that..." She said and placed on of her hand on her chest.
"We should introduce ourselves. My name is...Amelia."
