Don't know why, but he just didn't like him: "As for you... You're not the Supreme Kai. You must be Supreme Kai's attendant. After all, as a Supreme Kai, even when faced with such a sudden change, one wouldn't lose composure or panic like this."
As soon as he said that, Kibito's face turned red.
No, his face was already red to begin with.
Clearly, he had been insulted by Talot and didn't know how to respond.
After all, what Talot said was the truth.
East Supreme Kai's reaction was completely different from Kibito's.
"I see, so you're North Kai's disciple. Hard to believe he would take in a Saiyan like you as his apprentice," East Supreme Kai said, trying to suppress his inner panic.
In fact, he had almost collapsed from fear.
Because the aura Talot released was simply too powerful.
Even watching from a distance before had made him break out in a cold sweat, let alone now, feeling it up close. He could clearly sense the terrifying energy inside Talot.
It was unimaginably strong!!
After forcing himself to stay calm and confirming that Talot wasn't an enemy—in fact, that he was somewhat on their side—East Supreme Kai suddenly found that not only was he no longer afraid of Talot, he actually began examining him with excitement.
As someone ranked above the Kais, essentially their superior, that meant North Kai's disciple was also someone he could order around.
North Kai, who hadn't been in contact for a long time, had raised a powerful warrior strong enough to help him eliminate Majin Buu.
Sensing that East Supreme Kai's gaze was a little off, Talot gave it some thought and decided to engage in conversation.
However, to Talot's surprise, the East Supreme Kai acted overly familiar with him, treating him like a close friend he'd known for countless years.
What surprised Talot the most was the East Supreme Kai's proactive friendliness. This was completely opposite to how he'd acted at first in the original work.
Of course, what Talot didn't consider was that he was powerful enough to leave East Supreme Kai with no courage to resist.
Off to the side, Kibito was already dumbfounded.
He never would've imagined his master becoming this easygoing, actually trying to flatter a Saiyan from the mortal world.
"Come to think of it, the Sacred World of the Kai really hasn't had visitors in years. Once again, welcome, Talot," said East Supreme Kai again, after having learned his name and some background information.
Talot nodded, unfazed.
The two now sat face-to-face at a tea table he had casually created with his abilities.
East Supreme Kai raised a hand in a gesture of invitation and said, "Please, have some tea."
Talot lifted the teacup, still maintaining his Super Saiyan 4 form. Yet his power showed no sign of chaos, nor did he lose control and crush the cup.
He took a small sip and assessed it in his own way.
Gotta admit, Supreme Kai's tea really was something special.
Kibito, standing by, poured tea and refilled the cup after Talot finished it.
Just like that, after several rounds of conversation, East Supreme Kai learned more about the mortal world, especially about Talot and the Saiyan race.
What shocked him most was that he hadn't even noticed Cooler, who had caused chaos in the mortal world for years, was already dead.
It had to be said, East Supreme Kai had clearly been slacking off, even neglecting his duties, completely unconcerned with what was happening in the mortal world.
No wonder that after millions of years, he'd barely changed from how he was back then.
"So it turns out, without realizing it, the mortal world has already become like this. These past years, I've always stayed in the Sacred World of the Kai, only occasionally visiting the mortal world to do a few things, or creating planets and life...
"Now, seeing you, suddenly I see hope. Your appearance may be the key to resolving the greatest threat to our universe."
There was a deeper meaning behind East Supreme Kai's words.
Talot could more or less understand what he meant. It was nothing more than Majin Buu and Babidi.
But he still asked, "If there's trouble, just say it directly. You're a Supreme Kai, after all. No need to beat around the bush."
That casual remark once again triggered a wave of emotion in Kibito, who stood nearby.
That pride in his own status made him feel not only personally insulted, but as if his master had also been insulted.
"Since you put it that way, I won't hide it anymore. This matter started five million years ago..." East Supreme Kai began to reveal everything he had kept hidden in his heart regarding Majin Buu.
As a transmigrator, who wouldn't know about it?
Perhaps the only thing not disclosed in the original work was that Majin Buu's egg had been hidden by East Supreme Kai on Earth.
"So that means... the egg I once saw at the bottom of the Ultra Divine Water's spring on Earth, that was the seal of Majin Buu?" Talot asked in return.
It seemed like a question, but in reality it was an emotional response upon learning the truth and having his doubts resolved.
"You know that place? Wait, you've been to Earth?!" East Supreme Kai was visibly shocked. He hadn't expected Talot to have already come into contact with the giant egg sealing Majin Buu.
Nodding slightly, Talot said, "Yes. Over the years, for various reasons, the few of us settled on Earth. As for that egg, I came across it by coincidence. When I saw that massive egg, I could already feel that something incredibly dangerous was sleeping inside. It's just that I wasn't strong enough at the time, so I didn't dare investigate further."
"I see... I didn't expect everything to be so coincidental. Back then, I diverted the sacred spring of the Sacred Land to Earth to form the Ultra Divine Water spring, and later placed the egg sealing Majin Buu into that spring.
"My intention was to gradually purify Majin Buu's evil energy through the divine water. But now it seems I was being far too naive. Even after five million years, Majin Buu likely still isn't dead..." As he spoke to this point, a trace of uncontrollable fear once again surfaced on East Supreme Kai's face.
To him, the fear Majin Buu brought could never be forgotten.
Unless Majin Buu truly died, he would never sleep peacefully.
"So you want me to kill Majin Buu for you, is that it?" Talot went straight to the point.
"More or less, but not exactly!" East Supreme Kai nodded, then continued, "What I mean is, I hope you can help me eliminate the hidden hand behind it all, Babidi. That way, the seal on Majin Buu won't be broken. After all, even though your strength is great, I still have to tell you. Majin Buu is even more terrifying. So terrifying you can't even imagine."
After East Supreme Kai finished speaking, Talot was momentarily stunned.
This reaction of his did match how the original work described East Supreme Kai—someone who never even fought Majin Buu, let alone stood on equal footing, yet still belittled himself and praised the enemy.
However, Talot wasn't arrogant enough to take the initiative to fight: "Alright. If it's within my power, I can help. But in return, I'd like to train on the Sacred World of the Kai. Would that be possible?"
Only with such an exchange would it be fair.
Otherwise, Talot wasn't about to work for free.
The Sacred World of the Kai was indeed a great place for training as it was especially rich in natural energy. Moreover, Talot gained a new insight.
Perhaps, in this place, he could even learn the God Ki that only Goku and Vegeta in the Super Era could master.
