His gaze stayed on me for one second, then dropped to Lily asleep in my arms.
“I was already going to before you came. Nobody else aside close friends and family are allowed near her till she’s 18.”
“Babe, now that’s a stretch. Maybe, 6.”
I understood why he was so overprotective especially since men like Leo did not hear a boundary and think, alright, fair, I’ll back off. He heard a closed door and started looking for windows or spare keys.
Kaden sent word back that the pack was closed off after the birth and formal visits would wait.
Leo came anyway.
I was still in the nursery when one of the omegas came up to say he was already at the gate with gifts, and the look Kaden gave me after that was enough.
“Come with me,”
I blinked. “You want me there?”
“I want him to hear the answer from both of us.”
So I went.
