Vergil slowly limped to Vincent's fading corpse in order to collect the fallen loot.He noticed a medival key and 4 miniature golden statues.
As he grabbed them some information entered his mind regarding the loot.The medival key was needed to open the castle treasury on the dungeons second floor.Beyond that it was just a normal key.However without the key one simply could not enter the castle treasury.
As for the four miniature golden statues they could each be used to summon a molten gold guardian.The strengh of the guardian would depend on the strengh of the summoner as well as the danger they were in.The greater the summoners strengh and the danger they were in the stronger the guardian would be.More then one golden statue could be used at once but their effectiveness would also be decreased.It was essentially an item that could save ones life when used.
Vergil calmly sat down and took out some cloth.He had to remove the ruby fragments in his body and rest for a bit if he wanted to be in peak condition.He decided to collect each fragment carefully in order to have them studied later due to their vitality stealing properties.
Speaking of vitality stealing properties...perhaps...it would...be good to...sleep.
He was feeling awfully tired and his thoughts and movements were rapidly slowing down.His body slumped to the ground and his pulse weakened

This dungeon mob scion is known as Sir Stabalot,a champion of the royal inbred Augustus lineage and Lord Seneschal of the armoured knights that serve the Augustus family.This ferocious warrior follows a strict code of martial honour,misogyny and pride.You know those muscular men who wear wife beaters and beat their wives.This guy is the medival version.He may not have a wife beater but he sure does beat his wife.He also possesses an enchanted set of armour and a relic that takes the shape of an enchanted two handed sword.Good luck fighting this guy you need it.
Jane,Sarah and an officer class operative by the name of Sophia #67 recieved a notification of Vergils situation but they were currently preoccupied with the foe in front of them.
The obsidian armoured knight with red eyes was continuously on the offensive.Its movements were a testament to incredible martial skill and ferocity.Its continuous misogynistic taunts were also wearing thin on the nerves of the three female operatives.
The power fields on the weapons of the three women did next to nothing to the colossal ebony figures dark armour.It also didn't do anything to the two handed greatsword that the eight foot tall Knight wielded.
The reason the women didn't have weapons of the phaseblade series was because they were difficult too conceal and hide.The women were also from task forces that weren't too used to combat.They didn't have the combat experience of say Maladus,Vergil and Gary.
"What's wrong art thou too frail to launch a proper offensive." Sir Stabalot taunted them for the twentieth time.Although the women were used to controlling their emotions the taunts incited an unnatural anger within the women.It was causing them to make costly mistakes.
Sophia had already had an arm and one eye carved out by that monsters greatsword.Her wound had clotted but her combat ability was greatly hindered.
Jane knew they had to finish this before it became a battle of attrition.If it became a battle of attrition they would lose.The dark knight appeared to be fighting neutrally for now.He blocked and parried every strike and punished any mistakes they made but he wasn't fighting too aggressively...for now anyway.

Sir Stabalot's two handed greatsword began to glow.He swung downwards and a crimson vertical slash hurtled towards Sarah who parried the slash attack with her stave.The sheer force behind the slash attack could be felt in her bones.While she was busy doing that the knight had been approaching behind the slash.
Sir Stabalot unleashed a thrust aiming for the centre point of her stave.The sheer force behind the thrust nearly sent the stave flying out of her hands and she was sent skidding back quite the distance.
Jane had attempted to follow the knight in order to attack it from behind but her slashes and stabs with her blades power field only left slight chinks in his armour.
The black knight noticed this and spun around with a back hand.Jane jumped back dodging the blow.Sophia who had just caught up intending to attack Sir Stabalot caught the backhand instead.The force behind the blow caved in Sophia's face killing her instantly.
